I'm looking to get some new 5.1 home theater speakers. What brand do you guys think I should get. I would like to keep the price under $500.

I bought a Yamaha YHT-150 system from Best Buy right around Christmas. I'm not a complete audiophile, but I'm very pleased with the sound. Can't recall the exact price, but I know it was under $400. AM/FM receiever that also accepts input from my TV, Cable box and DVD/VCR with room to expand and speakers.

I have Bose 161's front and Rear. My Center is a Sony I think it ran around 100.00 - 150.00. I still have to buy another rear center and another set of 161's for the middles. I have a 7.1 system it rocks. I do like the Bose 161's for what they are they really put out good sound and under 200.00 a pair.

Ive got a Polk Audio RM7200 setup. Comes with 4 satellite speakers, a center channel, and a 10" sub. Got it at a place called Frys Electronics for $599.

That's exactly why should buy her a nice new home theater system for valentine's day. Or even better some nice mods for the titan like some shiny nerf bars. Women like things that sparkle.

I bought her a Kickass Sony Boombox about 11 years ago (before we were married) and I still hear about that one occasionally.

As far as the truck, God Bless her for just riding with me. The kids in the back yelling 'Daddy, do another doughnut in the snow!!!'

Nerfbars were a great idea!!! I already have them and they are loved by all :D

The BANKS stainless exhaust is pretty shiny  but I couldn't do that, could I?

8O Hell yeah you could the banks exhaust is what she needs. Think about its a great safty devise. It increases hp so you can get out of dangrous situations. It also makes your truck louder so every body knows that your comeing. What better gift to give your wife than makeing your family safe.

I was on a stereo forum a while ago and tehre was a guy talking about a Durabrand system at Wal Mart that only costs about $100. He said he was trying to save up for a good system but he felt this cheapo was darned good for the money. He claimed he was into stereos and knew his stuff.

We did buy a Durabrand mbile DVD system for the kids that cost appx $280 that comes with the player and 2 7" screens. They've lasted over a year now with no problems. Compared to what places want for 2 screen and a player I think we made out real good.
