Forgive me, but I drive (for HVAC work) a 2000 Ford E-250 POS. Just recently the airbag light (on dash) has been flashing 4-6.

Does anybody know/have the code book for this signal?
I don't want to have to take the truck to the shop if its something stupid. I know if I get into a wreck with this thing, an airbag Won't help anyways!

I have no codes. I've had vehicles with high mileage and the light would come on only intermitently and only when it was super cold out.

Someone here should be able to help.

Autozone or Advance Auto could read any codes you have, that would be a good start.

hey tattoomee,
i have the same work van and this also happened to me before. it turned out to be that the plug that connects to the seat belt under the seat had come lose. they replaced the plug and they made conntact, no more light.
i felt kinda bad though because i have a whole bunch of parts books under my seat that i use all the time and just whip back under there. yeah thats what broke the plug :oops:

The AutoZone Dude sez they can't help me because its a "safety" issue.
