I bought this dvd player a amazon for 280.00 shipped.
I was hoping to install a screen in the drop down overhead consol but it wouldn't fit. If it would have been a seven inch instead of a eight inch it would have. The player is in the consol w/ a whole drilled to put power and headphones to the AUG plugs. The screens are usb power,video, and audio. Any how it works good and 1 screen on the back of the seat and the 2nd one is in the consol for an extra.

my 7" monitor has agap of about 3/4" around the entire screen. Is your screen wider than the entire compartment or can you just trim out the lip of the compartment. The flip down compartment is actually pretty cheap (I think <$40) so don't be too afraid to break out the router/dremel or exacta knife.

Did you get the 2 monitors and DVD for $280? if so sweet deal :thumbsup:

Yea 2 monitors. Shipped to house for 280.00. Its a craig say it at toys r us. Its to wide so I disassembled the overhead compartment. The monitor has a bolt and screw attachment. So the problem is the part that locks it up is on a different plate than the part that allows it to hindge.

I have someting similar for the kiddos in my truck..but the player is on the back of one of the two screens.

Looks ggod, someday I'll do a set-up like that, just too cold right know, also gotta do the paint job in the inside of the truck like GOVAL!

I wanna do something like that for my wife's Dakota. Looks nice! Well hidden.
