So I just went over 12,000 this past week and i've noticed i'm starting to get the brake judder during hard braking. So I called my dealership hoping to schedule for the brake recall, and the lady says she needed to check my vin# to see if my model has the recall. She tells me my model doesn't have the brake problem but i'm still getting the brake judder. So I scheduled a brake maintanance anyway, do you guys think this is possible or is it just another shady dealership?

I think there is mention of VIN numbers in the TBS, but I don't know why.

There was a cutoff from Nissan, saying that all these models above this VIN had the newest brake kits, but it was revised, take it in, have them confirm the judder, and they will do the brake fix..

When I took my Titan for the judder, they replaced everything EXCEPT the rotors (only machined it). When I asked them about why I didn't get new rotors, they say according to my VIN# I already had the "newer" rotors from factory. They replaced all my pads front and rear and machine all rotors. Brake have been good since with very minimal dust.
