I waited until the coldest day of the year to install these spacers, but it was the first chance I had. My dad and I were able to do this with only a few minor snags. It took us about 3.5 hours after we set up the tarps over the garage door and lit the butane space heater.
The hardest part of the whole install was deciding where to put the jack stands so that we felt safe under the truck. Once that was done, It was fairly straight forward.
The instructions were very easy to follow, however we decided to skip(actually we figured out that we skipped) the step where you are supposed to remove the lower link to the sway bar to allow easy removal of the bottom of the coil assembly. This probably would have made removal alot easier, but we got it out anyway.
The next and only other problem was getting the lower shock mounting bolts back in. This was finally done with coercion by a pry bar and ratchett, and the threads on the bolt were unharmed.
I am very pleased with the end result.
I would post these pics so that they could be scrolled through but I don't know how.
Reminder: My truck is 2wd and these are the 1.5" Cornfed lift spacers from Burtman Industries.

Before and afters of the space in between tires and fender wells.
I don't know why but my passenger front is about 3/8" higher than driver side. Any ideas?

My truck was freshly cleaned on a beautiful day in the before pics.
In the after pics it was cold and gray outside and the truck was dirty.
I really can't believe how much change there is in perspective from the drivers seat with just 1.5" of lift.
I can't tell any difference in the ride yet, but now I can slide under the front of the truck without touching the armada air dam, where as before I had to squeeze under it.
I love the more level profile. The back is still approx. 3/4 to 1" higher
Great product, great price. Highly rectumend, err uh, recommend

Looks great! Nice work. I put new coilovers on mine about a month back. During all of my measuring I too noticed that the passenger side is higher than the drivers side. I can only assume this is to compensate for the way the road slopes from centerline to shoulder... glad to hear someone else noticed this also though!

Looks great! Yeah removing the sway bar makes it way easier. These trucks look so much better leveled.

It is highly recommended to detach the swaybar before raising the truck off the ground. Once the truck is up off the ground then it is much easier to get the bottom coil-over bolts out and back in...no prying or leverage needed. Then replace the swaybar end links after it is back on the ground. Much easier install doing it this way. :)

Yeah, I posted those so that everyone could compare.
They look exactly alike to me, except for the price tag of course :money:

Yeah, we figured that out once we got the first one back in. The second one wasn't as hard because we had both shock mount bolts out and there was a lot more slack in the suspension.

Looks really good! I thought maybe I was imagining things when I measured for my lift, but the measurements before and after the lift on the driver side is about 1/2" lower than the passenger side, but I am glad to hear I am not the only one experiencing that problem.

That looks good, amazing what a 1.5" front lift will do for the look and I like that it still maintains a slight rake.

I shook my head when I first saw that a photo of our kit was posted with the price right after this Cornfed kit, but I left it alone and encouraged Greg to do the same. After the comment about there being no difference between the two except the price, however, you certainly can't expect us not to pipe up!
There is more of a difference to the Cornfed kit and our kit than the price. Here, let me list the differences:
1)To clarify - our price of $199 includes shipping and the price of $135 for the Cornfed kit does not include shipping. I believe shipping would bring that kit to about $155.
2) Our kits include upgraded bumpstops - that's about a $20 value.
3) Our kits include detailed, accurate photo instructions (and in the near future, a video walk-through)
4) We include replacement cotter pins because, for your safety, you really shouldn't reuse them.
5) We offer a credit for returned spacers when our customers upgrade their suspensions.
6) The most obvious difference is that the Cornfed kit will raise the front of your 2wd 1.5" whereas our 2wd kit raises the front 2.5". This equates to more material and more machine time.

It is not my intention to bash the Cornfed kit, but to defend ours against incorrect information. I wouldn't object if the moderators thought it best to just remove all reference to our kit from this thread entirely.

It is not my intention to bash the "prg" kit either, I know along with everybody else that you guys make quality stuff. I'm not arguing that. I'm making a comparison.
To clarify on a few points:
1) In my earlier post I stated that the cornfed 1.5" lift for 2wd from Burtman Industries, LOOKED just like the PRG kit.
2) Even with shipping, it's still $44 cheaper
3) With a 1.5" lift, (I could be wrong), but I don't beleive you really need upgraded bumpstops.
4) I don't know what cotter pins are.
5) The Cornfed kit from Burtman Industries came with detailed instructions as well, no pictures, but it come with a cool "THIS TRUCK HAS BEEN CORNFED" decal.
6) Greg told me personally that he would custom grind me a 1.5" spacer, again--- you guys have a great product and great customer service--- but I'm still going to pay $44 more (with shipping)
7) Last but not least. . . All I wanted to raise my truck was 1.5" and there are others who want to do the same thing-- and do it for less than 2 bills.

Again, I might be wrong-- but I hoped that one purpose of this site was to give Titan owners info on different products and compare and decide for themselves.

Greg and Jen,
you guys have a great business and a great product, you will always be a Titan suspension powerhouse, so what's wrong with letting people compare your products to other's products and deciding for themselves which to buy?

There's no problem with people wanting to compare - we encourage it, not only with our products but with the various items we sell. Not everything is going to be perfect for everyone. I don't think it's accurate (or necessary), however, to put a photo of our kit with the price and then state that the only difference between the two kits is the price. My point was to clarify that there is much more of a difference, not whether or not ours is better for your application.
