Can some tell me what the gauge is that is directly to the left of the gas gauge? I noticed that it takes a good half hour from cold for this thing to even start moving upwards. Is this normal on the Titan's?

That is the transmission temp gage, and yes it takes a while to warm the transmission fluid to register on the gage. I usually drive between 4-8 miles before it starts registering. It depends on how much of a load you put on it such as driving up hills. If you mainly drive on flat ground it will take longer to warm. It is normal and nothing to worry about.
