hey guys' any ideas. have an 05 w/ 6" pro comp can't find wheels that will fit. I have 17x10 W/ 4.5 backs. Have tried 3 17x9 w/4.5 and they hit on tire rod ends. 4 wheel parts says that they are right, but pro says the ends may not have been swapt out right; but 4 wheel says they are correct. any pics or whatever on wheels w/6 pro are a great help thanks jer

They probably didnt switch the ends. If you look a the tie rods, from the top, there will be am "L" and an "R" but they should be on the wrong sides of the truck to work properly. You can also see if they are swapped as they will go from the steering arm then slightly rearward, then straight again in front of the spring unitl the rack. Post a pic and i can tell you right away.

Thanks PRG the ends are correct. I'm tring helo max 6 4.5 back 17x9. I guess we'll see if the work. They tried at the 4 wheel parts, guy says they are hitting something. Come to find out tire guy was " sick" that day, asked me to bring back today. So I called them and he is out today in the old gray bar hotel. Good news though !!! I got a call from the guys at discount and will try the wheels (helos), if they fit I pay the diff. saving me @ 500 (back in the S/C fund). If goes ok will post pics if i ever figure out how to.

i just ran into the same problem last night. so greg, are you saying that the tie rod end on the right side needs to be switched to the other side?
