Ok I kept the system out of my old truck. When the dealer wouldn't give me any extra for it I tore it out of the truck on the lot.
So now it's time to install it myself or pay someone to install it.
The amp has 4 channels. Channel 3-4 will be bridged to the sub woofers under the back seat. and channel 1-2 will run the rest of the truck's highs through the existing speakers. Now I understand all this....where I'm not positive is in the dash.
Off the top of my head....how many channels does the radio have?...6. Do I simply run front left and front right to channel 1 and 2 on the amp and the rear outputs to channel 3 & 4? I know I loose fade...but don't use it anyways. In the dash I would have to integrate all left then right side speaker wires into one RCA plug to the amp. One for the left and one for the right.
Do I have this correct in my head anyone????
Best place to run AMP power lead from?
