We were leaving our fishing spot on the beach at Oregon Inlet, NC yesterday and we noticed that there was a couple driving some sort of Subaru that was STUCK DEEP in the sand. The sand was extremely thick due to the off season and the high winds. I don't know how anything less powerful that the Titan managed around in that sand. So we were on our way out, and noticed the bottomed out Subaru. I got out and offered my assistance. I looped the tow strap on their trailer hitch and looped it onto mine. From there, since I was already in 4-wheel, i just put it into drive. I didn't spin a tire or skip a beat and that subaru was sitting high and dry on the thinner part of the beach. The power of the Titan had yet again amazed me and made new believers out of all of the on lookers. (which included 4 guys watching from their Chevrolet Silverado). Another day in the life of THE TITAN!!!

Well, my buddy Bruce was spotting the operation and was taking the strap off the subaru when the driver offered us $20. Bruce and all of his kindness declinded. Oh well, maybe next time...

I kind of have a Subaru. My Saab 9-2x aero is a WRX that Saab bought the rights to and put some Saab refinements on it and a Saab front end. Other than that, it is a WRX. The car has amazing traction! I would never take it into thick beach sand. My Titan, on the other hand, seems to be unstoppable when four wheel drive is engaged! I love both of these vehicles!

Come out to Fort Fisher and you can spend a large part of your day helping others get unstuck!

I just bought sand ladders so that IN CASE I get stuck, I can get out myself. (I'm amazed at how many folks out there don't want to give an assist.)

Glad to know you turned down the cash-again, chalk one up for the good guy Nate!
