http://www.truckxccessory.com/arot-229006.html this link shows the Aries Offroad OVAL steps for the Crew Cab. I want these for the King Cab. Must be Oval and must be black. This is a good price to me but will the same ones fit the King Cab. If the mounting points are the same for each I will get these. Please help me out fellas. I'm about to pull my hair out. I spent half the night at work searching for them.

M4ck, I would think it would depend on the wheel base. If the CC model has a longer wheel base (and I don't know if it does or not) then you would end up with a bigger space behind the bars. If the wheel base is the same, I would think they would fit just fine. Of course, there is the difference in the length of the cab, too. That may throw the look off, as well. I have the OEM bars, so have not put any thought into other styles.

Did you ever find out the answer to your Aries off road oval step question?? The one you posted on TT (same one here on your site). I left you the same message over there on TT.

I have the CC with the Aries O.R. Ovals. If you would like for me to measure the spread between the bolts, or the overall lenth of the tubes, want pics or anything, let me know.

I don't read the Club as much as TT because the colors mess with my eyes. Hit me up with a PM on TT or reply to that thread. I'll give you any help I can as far as measuring, pics, or anything.

BTW: That's where I bought my Aries from. They are FAST (shipping). I got the bars quick and when I bought them I paid the price listed plus $50 shipping, so $275 shipped. The directions that they sent weren't worth a SH!@#^T!! They were hard to read (bad printer maybe) BUT it is pretty much self explanatory. Let me know if I can do anything for you.

Hey I see you said its hard to read this site. If you go to the Your Account link from the main menu you can change the theme. Use the PHPIB2 theme its easier. Lots of people like it better.
If you could messure that it would be great. Let me know.

There should be a set of 4 plugs on your truck that cover up the holes where the bolts go (4 black plugs) plus there should be 4 welded studs that nuts go on. I didn't measure the studs cause the brackets make it a PITA. I measured from the center of the bolt to the center of the next bolt. Close as I can get for the bottom bolts were:

Front bolt (closest bracket to engine on driver's side, 1st plug) to second bracket bolt was 21 3/8" (center to center)
From that bolt (the second) to the last bracket bolt was 41 1/2" (center to center)

You don't use the 3rd set at all. Like they told you over at TT, the instructions are pretty much useless. These measurements should be close. My 13 year old didn't want to lay down on the wet ground

I think King Titan III over at TT has the KC and installed the Aries OR. He isn't kidding the instructions are SH!@#T. The bars are great, no flex, no squeaking, they are solid. It's just the instructions suck. Follow his advise.

I have the Aries Oval in stainless... they are exatly the same as the Crew Cab version. When I recieved them I noticed that the rear step is the same size as the front step. So I called Aries to verify that I didn't receive the crew cab version instead of the King Cab! He told me that they were exactly the same... no difference between the kits! I mounted them with the miserable instructions that they give and they are great. If you buy them a few things to note is that there are 2 different size washers! When you look at them you won't think there is a difference and the instructions make no mention of them. Use the slightly thicker washers to go underneath the Aries steps. The thinner washer goes on the bolts that connect to your truck! This will save you alot of time on the install as the thinner washer will not fit on the bolts that connect the Aries steps. Also, the instructions say that the brackets will be labled and they won't be. The front 2 brackets will be identical but the 3rd bracket that mounts nearest the bed will have its mounting point flipped towards the front of the truck! Once you see them you will now exactly what I am talking about! The instructions are piss, but the install is relativly painless once you get going! They really do look factory and you can't beat the price. ...$276.00 delivered

Good luck m4ck, If you need anything else give me a shout.
