Thanks Ron This kit uses the latest 3M backing which DOESN'T REQUIRE AN ADHESION PROMOTER. Just about every other dash kit makes you use this and it can and will discolor your dash. This is a plus with the newer backing, as your dash won't be damaged if you ever remove the kit at a later time, (leased vehicles, etc.) All you need bug/tar remover to clean the dash before you install.
