OK, so here is the good news. The surgery went well yesterday, and she will be coming home tomorrow. I want to thank everyone for their support and prayers. Now we begin on the long road of recovery. Over the next 6-12 months she will be going through chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and plastic surgery. But like they say, the first steps are the hardest. We made it through those first steps. We try and send out a weekly email with updates of her progress, so if anyone would like to be included on that, I know perhaps a little presumptious, just PM me your email address and I'll see that we add it.
