well just got back from a trip up north in north michigan to go ride my quad and do a little 4x4ing in the snow. the pics dont show the elevation changes very well but they are still some nice lookin pics. i didnt do any major terrain cause the snow was very slick and icy snow. i did manage to get myself stuck for a minute in 2 spots but got myself free, so i guess i was doin some things that were a little difficult :roll:

I think it has something to do with our settings. M4ck is the computer guru. But I think our screen settings is preventing us from seeing some of these because of the size.....???? Could be wrong. I can see that last one that you made smaller.

no, no sliding off road just came to the end of the trail so i did a 3 point turn :D

I want to switch mine out for BFG AT/KO's like I had on my Pathfinder...more aggressive in mud/snow.

hey mike hows it goin, yea there stock tires. they do all right but there defintly the weak link of a titan while 4x4ing.......if there is a weak link

no not the U.P. , i took it up by houlton lake. the trail system that i rode my quad on is in Leota and the 2-tracks i went down are just a bit north of there.

sounds like a plan. except how about you come up there with me so we can pull each other out of our ought ohs.
im thinkin about takin it to silver lake dunes also this year and runnin up test hill (the hill is as steep as sand will pile) those will be some good pics also. they are opening up in april, yea :D

If Smokedya2 heads over to Silver Lake (extremely fine grain sand and he's not kidding about the test hill), we'll need you, your shovels, a winch, perforated metal plates, and your e locker! :lol:

I swear, I've seen people get stuck in the parking lot there!

I'm heading up to Michigan in July. That will give Smokedya2 a couple months to perfect how to climb and pass on the strategy!

tips and stradgy: lower air pressure in tires to 10-15 psi, put in 4 lo, place right pedal against carpet, pray you make it :D

I am ordering my BFG AT/KO's. That's an extra two inches total of foot pad over the Rugged Trails (without dropping tire pressure already.)

I have lowered my tires to 22 lbs. Any lower and I'm afraid they will leave the rims!

I may order a set of sand ladders or see if a buddy who does tool & die can make me a set.

"Rocky" hears the keys jingle and he's out the door-goes on his walk, gets muddy, heads upstairs for his bath.

When we did that routine with the Pathfinder, I would have to spend another hour cleaning the rear cargo area . (When a dog shakes, it goes everywhere:))

Which was one of the reasons why we got the Titan!

BTW: That picture was taken during a "snowstorm" in Raleigh. Rocky was bent that he was not outside enjoying the snow!

You're right, dogs do like trucks. Some of my happiest memories are riding in the bed of my Dodge with my old redbone coonhound on a warm day. Not sure who was enjoying it more!!!!!!! :D :D :D
