OK GUYS, ive decided on the dates(SEPTEMBER 22,23,24....FRI,SAT,SUN and monday if you guys want it) and now need input on accomodations. i would really like to get a 10-12 bedroom& 5-6 bathroom cabin and we could all stay together. these cabins have hot tubes, pool tables, video games and of course all the ammenties you have in your on home. i am open to getting hotels but i think the cabin would allow us to have a lot more fun! im going to get a price on the cabin and we would just divide between all that comes? if we have objections on the cabin, i can get hotels rooms but they will end up being as much as if we split the cabin because i can get 30% of the cabin. i can get 2-3 cabins together or 1 big one. please lets get this going with comments and reccomendations and ill handle all the attractions once this is settled. lets here it guys! whos in on this awsome meet??

I cannot believe this! Another meet less than 2 hours from home and I cannot make it. I will be gone from the 22nd - 30th of that month. My wife bought a disney world vacation that actually starts on the 23rd so we are leaving for Orlando the 22nd. She said due to the meet in Orlando at the end of October, she did not want to plan a vacation around the meet, so I was going down there by myself and she bought the vacation according to open dates.

I don't expect anyone to change dates, but I would really like to go to a meet in my own backyard.

That is really far off for me to plan, but I will be doing my best to be able to make it!

I'm pretty flexible in September. The weekend before would work or two weeks after.

I all ready told the wife to hold off on putting in for time off. Go back to the plan when you first decided you would take charge of this thing, do what is best for you, and let others work it out to meet your dates! I appreciate you trying to do right by all, but there is no way you will be able to please everyone.

I work everyother weekend. So, the 22, 23, 24 works for me, but the 8,9,10 would also work. Like BIxll said, YOU plan this thing. I ran into the SAME problem when planning mine. You want to please the most but you are gonna let some people down. There's nothing you can do. Pick the date, and those that can come...WILL come. Good luck Jon, you'll plan a fine meet I'm sure.

Since I will be gone the 22 -30...The two weeks before the 22 will work for me. Either one, I will be there on Saturday. Might come up and stay a night on friday with the wife and kids. So we would get a room. But if the dates change to either one of the two weeks before, count me in.

JT and I can only make it on the weekend of the 22-24. So my vote is to leave the way it is! :)

I live in Chattanooga and this would be very doable for me... my truck is brand new and still sotck though. Might be a good opportunity to see what everyone else has done to their trucks and get ideas and such. Wouldnt hurt to make a few new friends in the process also. hey i just stayed in the loose moose cabin at pigeon forge two weeks ago. it was great. 8 bedroom, each with a bathroom, and an elevator inside. only problem with the cabin idea is the parking. we squeezed 5 vehicles in there, but that was tight. i recommend sugar maple cabins though, they were very nice.

i might be down for this....have to check my schedule at school for that weekend, but i love tennessee!

yes, i have found the cabin and will have a total price in a couple days! ive got a connection but its not free like i wanted...its about 1/3 off the retail price but thats still good for a cabin that sleeps 20 or more people. again ill have a price in a couple days and will have to reserve it and hope we get enough people to commit so i wont have to pay for it myslf.....lord knows that would cut into my modding money...lol...lol thanks for being patient and i believe once everyone gets here you will see how nice the cabins are and i can get pretty much everything in town discounted....

well guys, we have had a small change in plans...the original cabin was for sell and someone bought it and decided they didnt want to put it on the rental program and its not for rent. so we now cannot stay in the original cabin i had picked out.....we had no idea this would happen and i apologize. we did get moved but we now are about 2 blocks away from the original cabin but WE NOW ARE IN 2 CABINS SIDE BY SIDE. i tried to get 1 big cabin but none of them had 8 true bedrooms.....the two cabin together actually have 9 bedrooms but 1 bedroom has bunkbeds.....this arrangement will work as good as the other but we will have to sleep in two cabins....im very sorry for the inconvienance and will answer any questions personally 865-654-9289

well guys, we have had a small change in plans...the original cabin was for sell and someone bought it and decided they didnt want to put it on the rental program and its not for rent. so we now cannot stay in the original cabin i had picked out.....we had no idea this would happen and i apologize. we did get moved but we now are about 2 blocks away from the original cabin but WE NOW ARE IN 2 CABINS SIDE BY SIDE. i tried to get 1 big cabin but none of them had 8 true bedrooms.....the two cabin together actually have 9 bedrooms but 1 bedroom has bunkbeds.....this arrangement will work as good as the other but we will have to sleep in two cabins....im very sorry for the inconvienance and will answer any questions personally 865-654-9289

Up there in the mountains there might be a mudhole or 60 and it has rained here quite a bit this last week. Better wear a dentist mirror on your hat to watch behind you. LOL Don't worry Amy, you can still come get my truck...but its 2 wheel. LOL

i spent 4 days compounding all the scratches out of his truck from our last off road event....that may make me reconsider ever wanting to take wheeling again! I know why I picked my boring color now! Ohhhhh 2WD....better to get stuck with! :)

I spent most of the day with a buffer and polishing compound, to no avail. Will have to get some tips from you chicks!
