So I bought my Titan from the Internet dealer at Parker Nissan, but since I don't live in town they sent the truck to me. At the time, they had my deposit and the lien check was in the mail to them. Jeff Wilson, the internet sales manager, said they'd hold the extra set of keys and mail it once they received the check.

To make a long story short, after getting that check he was impossible to get a hold of - often taking days. He'd call once during the morning and never return a call the rest of the day. My tag and registration were late (my temporary expired for a week and a half before i got the tag) and he told me to pound sand when I asked for the additional key.

Pretty much - DON'T BUY FROM PARKER NISSAN!!! And if anyone has a better suggestion on how to get the keys, I'd appreciate it. At this point, I'll be contacting the Better Business Bureau and likely filing a small claims lawsuit against them - these keys are supposed to be expensive. So, if anyone knows where to get one cheap (but still the OEM key/remote) I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

You can get the keys cheap off Ebay, but they still have to be programmed to your truck which is a big part of the expense. Instead of getting on a forum and threatening a lawsuit (which will take months and too much of your time over $150), how about driving there and getting the keys and still reporting them to the BBB.

Do not take what I am about to say in the wrong way, but I see it more and more every day. This is a big problem I have with internet sales, people play 15 dealers against one another and then complain about service. Even though he needs to hold up his end of the bargain regardless of how it was bought, deals are better off face to face.
