I just got off of the phone with Rick from Raam Audio. Wow. what a nice guy. This guy is the type of person I love to deal with. Helpful, friendly, knowledgable. He has a great product (check out www.sounddeadenershowdown.com if you have not done so already) and very competitively priced. There are other products that have higher heat tolerance (damplifier) but they cost more due to the higher % of Butyl. Apparently, Butyl is just outrageous price-wise. What I determined was that 300 degrees of heat will NEVER happen in my truck, much less the 500 degrees that the more expensive product can handle. The highest temperature my truck has reached (sitting in full sun for hours) was 168 degrees.

Anyways, judge for yourself but I think that many people would make the decision to buy this product over the other products out there. And this group buy cuts about 10% off of the normal cheap price, so if you have been thinking about putting sound damping in your truck, NOW is the time to do it.

The group buy will end 30 days after M4ck made the initial post.

When I get to working on it I will post some pics and stuff.

Kurt
