Went for a drive in the mountains/foothills again today . Since I live only 20 min. away from Crown land(mostly provincial parks) ,there are no real roads ,just logging roads and pipeline right of ways. We drove for 6 hours, went 230 km (135 miles) , and burnt 1/2 a tank of fuel.
There is literally thousands of miles of trails and make shift roads ,so you could go out every weekend for years and not drive the same trails (of course half of this area is under 10 feet of snow for 4 or 5 months of the year, so ).

It took me awhile but I finally figured out how to resize pics ,I'm not very computer savy.
Next weekend We are going to try and go to Columbia Icefields in Jasper Nat. Park. It will be about a 6 hour round trip but the scenery is amazing and the girlfriend really likes ridin in the titan (she owns a '06 canyon ext. cab 4x4) .
Anyway ,will post pics if we go.

Thats great mileage, I'm getting better than average if I get above 125 driving on flat concrete. I wish I lived near scenery like that. Great pictures.

That is awesome. Sounds like a great way to spend the day. The girls do like the Titans don't they. My wife is always begging to drive mine.

I just love those off road trails and getting stuck briefly until you engage 4wd !!!
