: Okay, Last Post For Today...Show Off Your Pets!!
MrsM4ck 09-25-2004, 10:02 AM This is Sam, our 10 1/2 year old cat. He's been with us since he was 6 weeks old, and he is a sweetie. Have a look at this picture...he looks like a devil cat!! Actually, I just caught him mid-yawn  (Nevermind all the laundry and mess in the background 8O )

And here is a more tame picture of him, so ya know he's not as mean as he looks ;)

Cute, huh?? I don't have pictures of the parakeets yet. M4CK is the photographer around here, so I'll have to wait until he has time to help me get some pictures. As much as he works, that's not an easy thing!! And I may even show yall the fish, although they are pretty boring compared to the rest of my Zoo.
When we build our house (hopefully in a few years...we have the land, but are saving the money to build now...), hubby wants an English Bulldog. WOOHOO!! I love those!!
Now that I've shown you mine, how's about showing me your's?? Heehee
Talk about security :) Pearl of course is the white Boxer and Bear is the half Boxer half English Bulldog - both are from a Boxer rescue.

MrsM4ck 09-26-2004, 12:54 AM Slurppie, those are 2 handsome dogs!! I especially love the white one. GORGEOUS!! I don't think I have ever seen a white boxer before. I bet you don't have to worry about ANY intruders at your house!!
Thank you ma'am. Your right, white boxers are hard to find mainly due to the fact that most breeders put them to sleep since they are "different". The kids are great around the house and are very helpful when a door to door salesman won't take no for an answer
MrsM4ck 09-26-2004, 02:26 PM Almost forgot!! I think it is really cool that you adopted them from a Boxer Rescue Group :) We rescued Sam as well.
I was wondering, why are most white boxers put to sleep?? I know that I've heard that a lot of solid white cats are deaf, is that the case with dogs as well??
Wow, with as many members as there are on this site, you would think there would be more than just 2 of us that have pets 8O !!
k9mrussell 09-26-2004, 06:21 PM I have been posting pictures of our pets in the gallery section. I don't have any way to post them in a thread, so if you jump to the gallery section you can see our 2 fluff heads. :D
By the way Slurppie, those are some great looking dogs. It makes me glad to see people adopting pets. I wish more people would.

Your correct, most are prone to being blind, deaf, diseases etc etc.
BiXLL 09-26-2004, 08:08 PM k9mrussell, I was about to tell you that with the pics being in the gallery, they would be hosted. Then I tried to post one of yours and it didn't work. Whats up with that M4ck? It shows a url address, why won't it post in a thread? Never mind, it does work! By being in the gallery, the pic is hosted, with a url address. This means you can copy the address, and yjhen click img at the top of the message box, paste the url address of pic, then click img again.

k9mrussell 09-26-2004, 09:50 PM Well BiXLL, as you can see it's not working for me. I did like you said, but no luck. Any other ideas I could try???
BiXLL 09-26-2004, 10:11 PM make sure you are getting the entire address, the first time I tried, I left off the end of it, as it is unseen untill you run your curser down below the end of what you can see. Hold your button down and scroll around under last line showing of address and it will show up.

Ahh I see what you did. You put the page address that the picture is on. Not the location of the picture itself. Right click the picture of your dog in the shirt.
click properties. look at its location. should be http://www.clubtitan.org/modules/coppermine/albums/userpics/10045/normal_Cody%20The%20Police%20Dog_WEB.jpg
you put that code in then the location then close
like this http://www.clubtitan.org/modules/coppermine/albums/userpics/10045/normal_Cody%20The%20Police%20Dog_WEB.jpg
thats it.

JetTech 10-11-2004, 08:39 PM This is Prissy. We just got her last Saturday. She's a pure breed pomeranian that was kicked to the curb by a breeder at the ripe old age of 9 years. God only knows how much money she made him over the years. She just had 5 tumors removed along with a double mastectomy. She's had a rough life up to now.
She's doing great though and just as sweet and loveable as they come....

Not much to her make sure you keep her away from SmokedTitan's dogs or she will become a snack. LOL
Very neet you took a dog in that needed help though. My wife is currently thinking about taking in another cat that was abused. I am not all that wild of the idea being allergic and all but we may do it anyway.
