ok i went 4x2 ing in the beautiful deserts of arizona after it rained and geez never knew how beautiful it was hitting a bump and landing after 1 foot in the air....ahhhhh.....change went flying everywhere because i put my change in the front compartment pocket thing in the front of the truck.... speeding up to 60 in the mud and getting it dirty was the best feeling i ever had....slid around a corner at 60 well actually i braked so probably at 20 but the brakes locked and i slid and hit a couple prickly pears but then i regained control. got stuck but reversed out of it by rocking back and forth....ahhhhh....saw the sunrise on top of a mountain...and the mexican border....it was all at the indian reservation located in sells...so yea the damage was the front coilover plastic casing chipped off a little which was of no concern but i have 2 questions when making turns and braking on offroad, in the brakes i felt it lock and something clicking in the brakes what is that? and also the steering veers to the right a little do you think it was the offroading i did or just manufacturer problem or do i need a wheel alignment and will that cost me anything? well thats all i had to ask but i might put the questions on the general questions section.

Outstanding!

The clicking is the ABLS-nothing to worry about-scares you the first time right? :)

Yes, the offroading if you did some hard bumps and turns may have whacked your alignment out. $90.

IF you plan on doing it again, an upgrade in suspension may be in order...

Colossal, your dealer might give you free alignment for the first year, I know mine does, needed 2 of them so far after off-roading/stream crossing antics

The noise from the breaks is normal. Every vehicle i have ever owned with ABS make a terrible noise when the ABS kicked in.

And for pulling to the right while off-roading, it could be a couple of things... 1) mud/sand/etc caked on the inside of the rims throwing the wheelset out of balance (had that problem after i went mudding, see pics,) or 2) alignment beat out by bumps.

I would try to cheapest solution first and that would be to clean the wheels and see if the problem goes away. If the problem persists, it could cost a little more.

I don't know if there is any mud or anything caked on the backside of your rims. I had that problem but once i cleaned them off, all was well again.
