Hi All,
Took off on our first Titan experience for a July 4th lake weekend. Towed a loaded Titan crew cab with 4 people, 3 dogs, and my loaded 4000 pound 20.5 foot Reinell bowrider. Went up and down a lot of elevation and she handled NICE! I have driven a lot of vehicles that stated they could handle the towing but nothing like this. The shifting in the hills was smooth without all the high RPM's and did 1700 rpm at 65 mph on the straits.
Had to shift to 4x4 low to go up a very twisty, tough dirt road to the cabin at only 5-10 mph and no slippage at all. Even tried 4x4 locked but didn't even need it. I did notice the trans temp come up a little but I am sure thats to be expected when she's working.
Very impressive first outing and look forward to more.
