: Titan's "day at the spa"
Howie_Kaluha 07-21-2006, 09:05 AM Well, I've never actually had my truck fully detailed (other than basic washes, armor all, crap like that), and I just dropped it off this morning with a guy who has his own part time detailing business here in town. He actually goes everywhere between Jax and St. Augustine, and specializes in Ferraris, Lambos, Porsche's, etc. He'll have my truck for at least 8 hours today doing everything from interior leather conditioning to claybar and wax/buffing for the paint and scratches. I hear he does a great job. So, I'll try to get some good pics sometime later tonight or tomorrow........
LDOTITAN 07-21-2006, 10:23 AM I've got a guy here who comes by my wife's office. I don't think he'll clay bar, but boy do our vehicles look nice when he's done!!!! He and his partner drool over the Titan every time. They can't say enough about how good it looks all polished up! Beats breaking my a$$ trying to do it.

Yeah, it was actually a fellow Titan buddy of mine here in town who recommended him. Pays this guy $100 every other month to do it. It should look NICE.
I want to get my truck detailed also, so if this guy is good, post some pics and reviews cause I live in FL also, and it's hard to find someone good.
Yeah, I'll let you know how it turns out. The guy is real busy. I actually first made contact with him about 3 weeks ago. This was as soon as he could get me in, with all the other cars he had scheduled to do. He's actually a firefighter, but does this part time. Real nice guy.

Howie_Kaluha 07-21-2006, 10:04 PM Well, I just got it back about an hour ago. The guy spent ALL day on it. I'll admit, it looks as good as it did when I bought it over 2 years ago. Obviously, there are small things he just couldn't get (like tiny spots of stripe paint on my paint and plastic, or dirt in crevices that are too hard to reach ). The truck looks GREAT! Here are a few pics. I know the pics don't really do it justice, especially since I had to get them at night; however, I'll post more tomorrow. The up close shot of the paint is pretty amazing---before tonight, that whole area was covered in scratches :eek:

Yeah, this was something I REALLY needed to have done. I've had the truck for over 2 years now and never had it waxed......

I would love to find somebody who takes care of my the vehicles the same way I do while I am away. It is to demanding for the wife to clean the vehicles the way I do. I spend at least 4 hours on each vehicle when I wash them. I get to the point where you see my feet haning out of the engine bay, lol.
