I agree, we most likely are not seeing the whole story. But... Yosemite Steve has a good reputation on that board. Companies need to be careful what they say in e-mails as it may end up on a forum and hurt prospective sales. They may have had a good reason for saying what they did, but I think a business should be more careful.
