Ok guys and gals. I just got off the phone with Got_Titan (John). We need to start discussing seriously about this meet. John is going to be reserving a big cabin with 10 - 12 rooms and 5 or 6 bathrooms. I am pretty sure these rooms will fill up quick. If you are sure that you are going to make this meet and I think this is going to be great then put your name down now. The cabin is going to be close to cost somewhere between $1500 - $1600. John will have to put a deposit of 1/2 this to secure the cabin. We need to find out how many of you are going to reserve a room in the cabin and get at least half the money PayPal'd to John so that he does not have to pay this on his own or be stuck with it. If you want a room and want to split it with someone then you will have an even better deal. If we get the 12 room cabin then it will be about $125 per room. Thats for 3 days. I think you all know thats a great deal. Now if you and a friend or family member are splitting the room then you are looking at an even better deal. Please go ahead and put your name down in this thread so we can get an idea for sure that this is going to work. After these rooms fill up you will be on your own to find a room or another cabin. John might be able to help you there as well but you will have to get with him. I am sure there are some camping areas around for you brave nature lovers. Ok lets get the names down and start getting a feel for the amount of people to expect at this meet.

Rossi, just did a quick check on airtrain's website. Assuming San Francisco is closest you (I have no idea), they fly straight to Atlanta and Ohio. Atl is $186 per ticket. You're welcome to fly in and ride a couple hours up to Tennessee with me, and be back at the airport Monday morning.

You can still come and stay in the cabin with us once the rooms are full but you wont have a room. You will have to sleep on an air mattress you bring or one of the pull out couches. Anyone wanting to stay in the cabin and not get a room only needs to pay $100 for all 3 nights. Now thats a deal guys.
I talked to John and he says the track is open to all on Saturday and I am ready to race. $15 for the day to race. I cant wait this is going to be so much fun. If you are planning on coming you need to get your money to John as soon as possible. Once this cabin is full you will have to find other arrangements. John may be able to get you a room at a nice price but I am sure it wont be as fun as the cabin.

For those events we could take up a pool from people to cover whoever wouldnt be able to get in free. So if we have 20 people wanting to go to Dollywood and there are only 16 passes we can get like $7.00 a person and that way everyone gets in for dirt cheap. Sound good? THat way everyone is in for $7.00 basically.

I hear there are going to be some hot rod cruises while we are there. If you guys haven't gotten to see these before you will be floored. You could see hundreds of old hot rods all dolled up and shined up cruising at slow speeds one after the other through town. This whole event is going to be something to remember.

I think Dollywood will eat up a pretty good bit of a day. I think Sunday would probably be best for that. Saturday the track is open $15 a vehicle to run against each other. A lot of Sat night will be a cook out and maybe a small party. LOL

yes we have planned to go to the track about 15 miles from Pigeon Forge on Saturday. I think its $15 per vehicle and that is for as many times as you can run. I have to test drive John's truck because I want to feel how the DR's up front feel. No better place than the track for a test drive right?

I'm thinki9ng about bring my cam corder w/ tripod, but it's the 8mil cassette type(about 6 years old), and I would have no Idea how to convert to digital. It has the cords to plug into a TV or VCR, so i guess in theory it could be plugged into a computer and with the right software, could be made to work. Also has memory stick, but not big enough to be effective.

Unless some else is bringing a digital, then problem solved.

I can convert it for ya rob, of course I amy have to do some editing......

theres no rooms left in the cabin but for only $100 you can stay on a pull out couch or bring an air mattress and stay in the cabin where all the fun will be happening. Remember this $100 is for 3 nights and food while we are at the cabin.

well guys, we have had a small change in plans...the original cabin was for sell and someone bought it and decided they didnt want to put it on the rental program and its not for rent. so we now cannot stay in the original cabin i had picked out.....we had no idea this would happen and i apologize. we did get moved but we now are about 2 blocks away from the original cabin but WE NOW ARE IN 2 CABINS SIDE BY SIDE. i tried to get 1 big cabin but none of them had 8 true bedrooms.....the two cabin together actually have 9 bedrooms but 1 bedroom has bunkbeds.....this arrangement will work as good as the other but we will have to sleep in two cabins....im very sorry for the inconvienance and will answer any questions personally 865-654-9289

The cabins are 235 miles from here... so thats a 3.5 hour drive. Does anyone know the itinerary for Saturday yet???? I have Thurs-Sat off, so if we're not at the beach yet, I can come up Friday night if things will be started early on Saturday.

My experience with Preacher Brian is the sermon is going strong @ 3AM and @ 10AM the Preacher is in a deep slumber (IE: Passed out).....LOL!

Just got back today from the meet had a blast. Thanks GOT-TITAN for putting this together the ride in his truck was worth the trip!!! Video clips were taken by M4ck!!! Hey guys! First off, thanks GT for putting this together. Even the rain couldn't stop this from being a great time. Thanks to Tenisha for history lessons, and Mack/Big Country! for being the chef, crunchy bisquits and all!

I made it to the Del memorial br. in 8h 15 mins. No traffic at all. Only 2 tanks of gas. Cruise control is fabulous! I am going back there, meet or not, with out a doubt!
