: If The Titan Were Not Your Favorite Vehicle, What Would Be??
MrsM4ck 09-27-2004, 01:25 AM I know we are all members of this board because we love our Titans, but I was just wondering... If you had UNLIMITED MONEY, and could buy ANY CAR, TRUCK, SUV, *WHATEVER* you wanted, what would you buy??
I have ALWAYS wanted an old Volkswagen Beetle. I would love to have one totally redone. I always thought those were the cutest cars!! I could always buy one in bad shape and try to get on MTV's "Pimp My Ride", Heehee  Anybody else watch that show?? It's amazing what those people can do with an old car!!!!!
Shoot, if we are talking unlimited money, I might even get my OWN Titan, and M4CK and I could have His And Hers, Heehee  But make mine a dark green color, and add all the chrome, bells & whistles, please!!
k9mrussell 09-27-2004, 08:49 AM My 78 Ford F250 custom, that we affectionately call "Old Rusty", but with some major mods. I would want a 8" lift with 44's on it. A new motor, new exhaust, and new headers. Would also like front hitch and wench. Maybe even a roll bar. This thing lives for off roading!
I would not want to paint it or do any body work because I like the fact that I can go anywhere I want and NEVER have to wash it!!!!! It's called "Old Rusty" for a reason.
I will try to find some pictures and post. You will love it!!!!
MrsM4ck 09-27-2004, 09:05 AM Can't wait to see it, K9!! By the way, your police dog is one handsome fella!! I love German Shepherds. (Of course, if we ever adopted one, my poor cat would have a heart attack and cross the Rainbow Bridge in a skinny minute, HA!!) I actually have a friend who has an all white German Shepherd. I had no idea that all white ones even existed!! But her dog is GORGEOUS!! Don't let K9 see her...he might just fall in love, Heehee
BiXLL 09-27-2004, 10:50 AM I think mine would probobly be an F-350 dually diesel with the Centurian aftermarket upgrades,
k9mrussell 09-27-2004, 10:57 AM By the way, your police dog is one handsome fella!! Don't let K9 see her...he might just fall in love, Heehee
Thank you! He gets all his good looks from me! NOT!!!!! LOL
I would love to hook him up with a female, but he is state property and if they found out, I would get in trouble. He is scheduled to be fixed in December due to prostate issues and I hate to do that to him before he has had a chance to get laid!!! :( I don't want to have him fixed, but his prostate keeps geting infected and causes him pain.
He has been sick with a mass in his left nostril since June, but still wants to go to work with me. Vet said as long as he wants to work he should be ok. Titan will let me know when he can't work! Can't do operation until he is healthy. Hope to have him straight in next few weeks.
JetTech 09-27-2004, 11:36 AM Unlimited funds....hmmm, no thought on this one.
Ferrari F60 for the weekends and a 550 for weekday commutes to the golf course...it's nice to dream...
MrsM4ck 09-27-2004, 01:39 PM Oh goodness, K9 :( Your poor pooch!! I am sorry to hear that he is not feeling so great. I'll keep him in my prayers. (I know some folks believe it's silly to pray for animals, but in my opinion, if the verse in the Bible says that not a sparrow falls from the sky that God does not take notice is TRUE, and I believe that it is, then I think He cares for ALL of His creations...) Please keep us posted on how K9 is doing. I think he's become somewhat of a mascot for our Club Titan site :) Give him a pat for me!!
k9mrussell 09-27-2004, 03:01 PM Okay, I about peed my pants when I read that one, ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't get me wrong, I feel terrible that Titan is sick, but it's just the way you worded it or something  But I know your biggest concern is that he feels better real soon, and I will be praying that he does!! By the way, how old is Titan??
mrsm4ck - Titan appreciates the pat you gave him. LOL
I would like for him to get at least 1 shot of a$$ before he gets the twins cut off. LOL The important thing is that he remains healthy. I will keep you posted.
We will be getting blood work back today (again) and I hope to have more info. He has been to two vet hospitals (1 being the University of Pennsylvania where he got a cat scan and full medical evaluation over a 3 day period) in the last 3 months and still no progress.
As for Titans age, well, according to the importer he will be 5 in January. I think he is older because of his teeth and gray muzzle. We just don't know his true age. The wife and I celebrate his birthday on January 6th every year.
NateL 09-27-2004, 09:37 PM I love my Titan, and I don't think I'd want anything else as a daily driver. But I'd have to say my favorite vehicle is the 76 IH Scout that sits next to it in the garage, ok, not next to the titan, but next to my wifes car. The Titan has to sit in the driveway.
k9mrussell 09-27-2004, 09:43 PM The old IH scout is awesome man!!!! I would love to restore one.
I would also kill for a 66 Patrol!!!!!! :D
I heard those Patrols are great vehicles. Lots of desert use overseas I hear. Wonder why we don't have them over here.
M4ck
NateL 09-28-2004, 12:57 AM I actually got a chance to drive a New Patrol while I was on government sponsered extended "vacation" to southwest asia. It was a sweet ride, just like the new landcruisers but with the nissan boldness. They should really think about selling them in the states.
I'd love to find an older one(70's) and have it brought over.
MrsM4ck 09-28-2004, 02:49 AM Okay, this is a dumb blonde question, but here goes nuthin' !! My Dad used to own a vehicle called an International Scout. Is that the same type Scout you have?? The one he had was so cool. My sister and I used to love to ride in it. He'd take the top off and drive us around. It was a gorgeous red color. I can't remember whatever happened to the ole Scout... I suppose my Dad traded it in for something bigger. I loved it though. When I was in college (for a whole 5 minutes, LOL 8O ), he let me drive it there. All the boys were like, "WOAH!! Is THAT you CAR??" D'UH!! Not a car, a SCOUT!! LOL  "And yes, it IS MY RIDE!!" Heehee
Thanks for bringing up some cool memories of my Dad & me :)
NateL 09-28-2004, 06:31 PM Mine is a 76 Scout II, the Scout II's ran on the same 100" wheelbase as the earlier Scout 80, and 800s but they were a little longer and wider with more interior room. Mine isn't exactly in the best shape, but it's getting there.
MrsJetTech 10-11-2004, 10:28 PM Well mine would be a candy red 65 mustang. :D
BiXLL 10-12-2004, 05:46 AM Well mine would be a candy red 65 mustang. :D
My first car was a metallic blue 65 fastback! 289 hypo with a 4 speed. Man I loved that car.
TheMightyTITAN 10-12-2004, 11:16 AM I think I would get one of those new International pickups...talk about big @$$ pickup.....makes the Mighty Titan look tiny!!!
vector6 10-12-2004, 04:53 PM
hdrocketman 10-12-2004, 09:35 PM My choice is whatever vehicle my wife wants to drive ... if she's happy, I'll stay in a new(er) Titan.
just_chris 10-16-2004, 05:23 AM I would have a Unimog, with the full lockers front and rear and in the transfer case. Very big winch and lots of mountain roads to explore. 8)
OldSalt 11-02-2004, 11:17 PM 1969 Camaro Z-28 with the Dunstov 302 and a 4-speed. This little mouse motor was offically rated at 290 horses to fool the insurance companies, but actually the numbers were closer to 390 HP. God help me, but if I ever run across one that is in immaculate shape, I'd even consider giving up my Titan for it. I've wanted one since I discovered what cars were.
Titan_Fan 11-06-2004, 10:13 AM A HUMMER 1 With a nissan galaxy black paint job...ohya!
That would be nice... Oh to dream to dream... OH and a custom made CHOPPER to match.
