: So far so good!

I just wanted to put in a good word (so far) for the dealership that I have been visiting since moving to Texas. Nissan-Mckinney of Mckinney, Texas has been nothing but the best. I first took my truck in there for inspection and oil change in May and was impressed with the service I received. I know this is something simple but it has progressed from there. I took my truck back so they can look at some possible warranty issues (replacing my door molding and looking at my differential cover). There was nothing really wrong with my cover, I just wanted the newer cover I suppose (I mean it was rusty and there may have been a tiny leak, not sure).

I get a phone call to come and get my truck and that they will call me when the parts are ready. So, within a few days I get a call. I take the truck back and ask them to look at my brakes....they are shaking me when they warm up. I explained to them that it has already been done under recall in Virginia and they said, no problem, we will look. Later that afternoon, she calls me back and says your truck is ready but your brakes wont be done. Can you bring it back, we did find a problem and want it to get fixed for you!
I, of course, said sure! Well this is the main thing, when I go back up there to pay for the oil change, she tells me lets hold off. She begins to tell me that I am so close to being over my mileage that she does not want the ticket to read any higher. So she holds on to the ticket just in case I go over my warranty mileage before I can bring the vehicle back and in case I find some other issues if I go over.

I just know that if I were still in Virginia at dealing with the dealership that I have in the past, this would never happened. Heck, they couldn't even tell me that my doors were too close hence causing the molding to buckle when opening the back door. Nissan-McKinney not only looked at it, they fixed the doors, the molding, differential cover, and the brakes (on Monday). Also, everytime I take my truck there.....they wash it! Never had that done until I came here!

Sorry this is a boring story but "hats off to my dealership"....I just wouldn't deal with the used car department. Thats another story!

Be safe out there!
