I've personally never heard of it, but I'd be more than interested in seeing what it is. Have you "googled" it yet?

Yes, I googled it. Apparantly it is a high end oil mainly used in Europe. BMW Mercedes etc.

Well, as long as it isn't prohibitably expensive, I'd go for it!

It can't be any worse than the recycled sludge that comes out of the wall pumps in most Stealerships, right?

ELF has been a major sponsor in motor sports in Europe for decades. Quality product, and has been mentioned, expensive. Still it probably qualifies for you get what you pay for.

I had high (31 ppm) iron readings using the GC for 7500 miles. It was all short trip driving and during the winter months. I always get fair analysis reports with my winter oil. The summer runs are usually better because I do alot of long trips towing a light (5000#) skiboat. It seems the engine does not like to be babyed, but can't afford the gas to drive it hard.

German Castrol, despite the 0w rating is a very thick 30wt oil. I wouldn't recommend it for the winter but it still does better than most conventionals. The iron may have been from the valvetrain due to lack of oil flow at startup. Most engine wear comes from cold startup, and this is especially true up north.

Usually GC shows excellent numbers.
