I really want to get the best shine and protection on my Red Brawn Titan since it is kept outside. I notice that many of you use the Zaino Bros products. I have never used them before. So my question is...do you start with the Z-1 polish lok then use the Z-2 polish with activator then finish with the Z-6 and/or Z-8 sprays? It really seems like a lot of products to use. Which ones should I get and and what steps should I use them. I appreciate all the input!

I'm sure someone will answer soon. I use the Klasse line of products and Werkstatt so I don't have a clue.

04secc, I use Zaino and am very happy with it, I do use the 1 and 2 and only use the spray for touch up between waxing and so forth. Yes, it is a couple steps unlike other waxes. However, their product goes on very easy and if you let sit for 15 or so mins it comes off VERY easy. It is not like some of the other waxes where you are out there getting a arm work out. I also like the fact that it dries pretty much clear no thick discoloring cake mix. Hope this helps

04,

If you can splurge, go with the Zaino ZXF additive, this will enable you to skip the Z-1.

They will send detailed insrtuctions on how to use. In my process, which takes 8-10 hours, I will use the Z5 first, then Z2. In between use the Z6 detailer spray and the final coat use the new Deatiler spray, Grand Finale.

This is GOOD stuff!!!

Not to jack this thread but does anyone use a powered buffer to wax their truck? Sears sells them for like $20 and wondered how well they work.

Sorry, I forgot to mention

On my Titan I use Zaino, my wife's CRV I use Klaase.

The key is in the prepping!!

I use one for polishing, the Porter Cable 7424 or something like that. It is a Random Orbital polisher. I prefer to put waxes on by hand.

zaino is great...im currently using clay bar, thier car wash, z1 then z2 and the z6 spray for touch up in between. last for 6 months easy.....sometimes a tear if you do multiple layers of z2....use it once and you will never use anything else!!!

I have used a random orbiter with the Meguairs Cleaner wax which has a very light cut to it and it worked very well...just don't use too much pressure let the machine do the work and you hold it against the truck, when I'm doing the hood or roof I just guide it to work the wax in. Now I'm using the Gold Class line from Meguairs.

I use Klasse AIO with P21S carnauba with a Porter Cable Orbital Buffer. Check out www.autopia-carcare.com (http://www.autopia-carcare.com) for a great forum and product sources on auto detailing.
