I was out in the back country yesterday(sunday) , and while driving down the trail to the lodge , I ran over an old tree branch . I had the window down , so I immediately heard the sound of air rushing out of the rear tire . :( It had punctured the sidewall right where the tread starts and sidewall stops . Didn't take long for the TPM to light up . Cool .
I changed the tire and was quite impressed w/ the spare tire setup . Works pretty slick .
Anyway , Has anyone else had this type of puncture and would it be covered by road hazard ?
I am getting my new Moto Metals and BFG ATko's tomorrow , but would like to know if I have a chance getting my Rugged Trail replaced .

Being that it is a sidewall, I don't think they will cover it. But is always worth the try, whats the worst they can do.... tell you no???

I thought most road hazzard warrantees (the ones you buy) covered sidewall punctures. Just don't tell them you were offroad.
