Well depending on who comes out ahead (Titans) there are going to be alot of tapes "lost" (Hemis) so there is no evidence of the defeat.

The last time I went to the track I never got to line up with a hemi, but i wasn't that impressed really from what I could visually see that was done to his truck was intake/exhaust and he ran barely what a stock titan runs 15.4
Thier is soo much hype bout this hemi dodge crud it makes me sick.. They have massive aftermarket support and if we had the same I guarntee I could've already had a damn 13 second truck by now..

Sorrys guys...no Hemis to run against as they all were spraying and out running me. There was a yellow bee out there I could have beat NA but not when he sprayed.

My best was 14.5 with my 50shot. Had a good time and had 3 titans show up and one xTitaneer.

Before to long I bet we see some more guys running thier rigs and faster.

I ran 4 times but got slower with every run.. But luckily RB was datalogging for me and told me few things where wrong with my truck I need to get fixed since I had my hi-flow cats put on in nc.. The trucks idle rpm was about 250 rpm's too low and it's running fine A/F at idle but after that it gets rich and was making my times on average .5 slower than before I added the dynatech powercats.. This almost forces me to get the technosquare mod as I don't want to ruin my engine by running extremly rich.. All I know is that it wasnt like this in NC, my truck is soo tempermental and I've got a few tricks up my sleeve for it, either it's going to give in to me or else :)

Well that was fun, btw I think I have a very small traction issue....lol. It was nice seeing all the hemi's own up. I was VERY inconstant but managed one pass at 13.182@101.4mph. Well I can say that my next mod will be a set of slicks to use at the track.

I got vids of everyone's truck.... but I have not looked at it and my son was the cameraman, he is still learning.
To everyone running fast, congrats! My times were .6 tenths off my best and I was only running N/A. DA was 2495 feet when we got to the track, only a little better at close @ 1788 feet.
I made 15 passes but could not find the sweet spot to hook up and spun every pass.. oh well..
Very good to have meet everybody!

Central - There's no doubt that a Hemi is faster with all the mod capabilities available. There's alot of of difference once the Hemi's cam, header, gears and program up.

No excuses just facts...
My times were only .2 off from last weeks run...and one day I'll get the ECU figured out so that when I run N20 it does not go into the retard map. Using a 50shot I only picked up .4sec. Nothing sucks worse to go from double digits to mid-singles and build back up to doubles...common issue with Titans. Also we don't even hit True WOT until 37-45mph which carries thru the 1/2shift and then a 1-2sec pause to build timing and TB volts and then WOT again thru the end of the run.

However one day Titans will hopefully be able to compete head to head in a run what you brung.

yea some rumble bee smoked me by atleast 5-6 trucklengths but I know he was spraying so in all actuallity you can't compare that to what I normally run, I'm not sure what the elevation is there but that along with me running pig rich i still managed a 15.5 with a worst of 15.7 with a passenger You guys definatly have all the aftermarket support in the world, I'm glad for ya, but us on the otherhand we have nuthin but retards making exhaust/cai kits and like 2 companies making headers which we can't even tune for.. I'm tempted to just rip off my high flow cats again cause I know i can run 15.02-15.05's all day in 95F heat with that setup.. I just dont understand how adding cats would make me run richer, just doesnt make sense..

With the headers, and aftermarket intake and hi-flow cats you really should be on the leaner side, I suspect something else is going on with your truck, you need an innovative full time a/f guage that reads a/f at all rpm's, not just at WOT, just the headers alone should have leaned you out a little over stock, high flow cats are almost equal to cut/outs, sorta, and should only be helping you. Your best place to check a/f would be before your cats or somewhere right off the headers before the collector, if you have a front 02 sensor see if you can get a reading there, if you are truly running rich that would be a first with those kind of mods, but running rich is better than lean anyday and with NOS you could bump up your nitrous shot more, do you guys have forged pistons or just the crank. This is bugging me too, not to say whoever said or tested you running rich is wrong, just dont see how, unless your trucks computer was acting wierd and overcompensating fuel vs air, wich I dont see how that could be possible, your stock fuel injectors should be sparying max load at WOT and cannot spray over the max LBS it is designed to spray. You really need a good check of this, might have to go to Nissan to do this or bribe a local dyno shop to let you check your a/f with their guage, dont put it in the tail pipe, take of your cats and put the a/f guage in where your header collector is and that might mean taking off a y-pipe or x-pipe (not sure of your set up), but the main goal is to check it somewhere in the header or pipes b4 the cat, I'm running rich myself and know its hurting my torque, but with my mods I had to go to bigger injectors and its not bad...

BTW, were the Hemi guys nice or pricks, some get mouthy as the mods mount and some are pretty cool, I hope for my sake they were gentlemen and represented Texas in a good way.

The MAF senses more air flow and overcompensates creating a richer mix. You have an 05 like me so Techno cannot help you. Maybe Ron at proautoman can but you will need to go to his shop for the custom tune.

You are correct it "SHOULD BE" leaner but the ECU sees that and overcompensates. Most of the trucks Ron has seen with intake and exhaust are running richer than most. He was hooked up to CIPHER so the data logging is continuous thoughout the entire run.

Everyone I met was cool...even though we were only 50ft apart, out numbered and sharing the underside of the bleachers no bottles were thrown.

Tomany - check those plugs. 10mm shorty and 5/8 deep plug socket...10minutes. If they are black then we can confirm the rich condition if they are not then the Cipher logs in conjuction with those o2 simulaters are not a true reading. Also since you have just moved down here it's likely the truck is learning. Give it some more time before dumping the cats.

What kind of MAF do you guys have, is it like the ones on the chevys or Dodge and is there a way to trick the MAF or relocate it, that bites, you add a mod for performance just to have your truck kick you in the nuts and make it worse

Hey Tomany - check that as well look at the voltages of mine and yours at the same RPM. If it less than 4V under WOT that might be the problem.....

I cant open the data RB I don't have the program to look at it, can you look at it and post whatever you find here? Since I don't know much bout engines and all wouldnt serve much good for me to look at it anyways, I just like the sport of racing in general and don't really have the knowledge to tune anything :P

ohh by the way spent little more than I wanted for my nitrous setup, but I have like 1,200 of stuff enroute to me,
NX Express "WET EFI Import" 35,50,75 shots included
NX express bottle warmer
NX purge kit
MSD RPM digital window device (sprays the nitrous at 3000 rpm's thru 5800)
MSD tach pickup harness
NGK Iridium sparkplugs 1 step colder
Heat reflective barrier the biggest size at Jegs.com ( this is going to seal up my AEM Brute Force CAI box to try to keep it from sucking in 135F engine heat)

I'm going to get my beast to submit to sub 15 second runs somehow,lol
Talked to technosquare again today also, Dashi thier lead engineer will be back from japan tommrow so you can guess where my next 500.00 will be going i'll bribe them somehow to get the damn thing done even though they cant do my model of ECU which has 4X on the sticker..

I am just getting started on mine. I only have 1300miles on it. have flowmasters and going to get CAI soon. Have done ok on the street so far. But you guys are depressing me!
