Just an FYI.
I have begun talks with Nick Brown from Dick Scott Nissan in Canton, MI regarding a Titan get together to kick off the arrival of the 2007 Titans. The current plan is to have it at this dealership on a Saturday in mid to late September. They will have the service area available for attendees to have the 2 degree timing advance done and possible other maintenane-related activities as well. Nick is currently waiting to hear when the first delivery of '07s will be, once this is established, we'll have a definite date.

If you're interested in attending, I'd like to hear from you.

Hey there folks... sorry I haven't posted any info, I just returned from a week @ Disney in Orlando.
Anyway, after speaking w/ Nick Brown, it looks like we will be targeting Sat. Sept 23rd. I will be speaking with Nick this week to iron out the specifics so stay tuned for more info.

Breaking news!
I have confirmed that the timing advance will be available to anyone at the meet on the 23rd. The cost will be $60.
In addition to having a raffle for some great prizes, there is a strong possibility that we will have some folks from the Nissan Technical Center in attendance; namely those from the Accessories group! There'll be some "No Fear" accessories for sales as well.

This meet is going to be awesome!

Anxiously awaiting this meet. Of course, that means my HoneyDo list will be twice as long from now till then.

On the flip side, I'm sure she'll appreciate me getting the "truck talk fix" somewhere else besides boring her with it. lol

All in all, she's pretty good about it.

I'll go put $60 in my hiding spot in my wallet - don't wanna forget it. I want to get this timing advace done and then forget about it.

The rest of the meet will just be icing on the cake.

I wonder if they have a patch of "crappy Michigan roads" close by so that those that would like to can take my DR equipped Titan for a spin for comparison purposes.

Ya know, it takes a pretty cool guy to send parts to raffle to a meet at a dealership other than his own. Can I get a "H3ll Yah"?

Just got off of the phone w/ my contact @ D1ck Scott Nissan and they will have their service area open during our meet so if anyone wants to have stuff done like an oil change or tire rotation, you'll be able to get it done prior or during the meet.

Additionally, I've included a flyer that they have been sending out.

Dick Scott has a storage lot just down the street on Michigan Ave...has some nice size chuck holes and uneven paths... man, that's next on my wish list; DR coilovers and rear Bilsteins with the Total Chaos rear shackles!

Thanks for your offer to help. I just left a voicemail for Nick Brown to see if it was okay for me to bring the tent canopy. As with you, I am doing whatever prayers need to be done to at least minimize the rain that's forecasted for tomorrow. Why don't we plan on meeting @ the dealership around 10-10:15? I have received three quarters of the raffle prizes so far... still waiting on the gift certificates from John @ SoCalMotorsports and David @ PremierTruck Accessories. Aside from that, pray, pray, pray and then some for no rain tomorrow. My truck is going in for detailing this evening so...

Are you doing the detailing? If so, can you do mine too? I've only got 12 states (3400 miles) worth of road grime and bugs on it. Should only take you about 6-8 hours to wash by hand and remove the guts and grime as I don't allow any power anything on it - it's all hand wash baby!

I'm not an Indian, but I'll go ahead and do an anti-raindance. In all actuality, all I'd have to do is NOT wash my truck. Seems every single time I've ever wahsed it, we've gotten rain within 12 hours.

Me do it? Nah... my neighbor owns a colllision/detail shop. He's going to do it in his garage tonight for $50. Complete wash and detail (exterior and engine compartment only). Once he's done, I'll just put it in my garage 'till tomorrow morning.

I just got word from Nick Brown that D1ck Scott Nissan has just received some 2007 Titans... we'll be able to inspect them tomorrow @ the meet.
