: Interested In A Jba Exhaust/header Gb???

Hello All,

Our most recent ClubTitan Group Buy went very well (all product shipped within 2 business days of GB's closing) and we were testing the water to see if there was any interest in a JBA exhaust and/or header GB.

Let us know if this floats anyone's boat. If not, let us know what does and we can possibly setup another GB to help you out.

Thanks in advance and have a great weekend,

John

How about just a header install.....but I'm a scared after seeing the install talked about....sounds a bit harsh! Are the JBA headers legal in CA?

"50 State Smog Legal" according to their website.

I'd be interested in the headers. Didn't someone get the ceramic coated ones for $499 somewhere? If the GB price was better than that, I'd definitely be interested.

Hello All,

We are working on pricing from JBA on both products (exhaust and headers). However the price mentioned of under $400 shipped is not realistic. As always, I will take care of the CT guys and get you the best price possible.

I am hoping to hear back from them this week on the qty. needed for a price break.

Thanks goes out to all those who have chimed in thus far. Talk to you all soon,

John

SS jba header CA 95655...... I heard these JBAs will run rich if you have an aftermarket intake?? Do you have to take your intake off and use stock to run these?

SCMS_JOHN
11-14-2006, 03:59 PM
Hey TitanSE...did we ever send you pricing?

Rock$tarTitan: I have not heard of the headers causing the vehicle to run rich. Intakes are great with headers and exhausts. No complications with these combo's. I will PM you with pricing to the zip you provided.

Thanks in advance,

John

It does run richer with headers and high flow intake. Shailey has a whole thread documenting this reality. He has been able to tweak the a/f ratio to lean it out a little. But you must monitor your cat temps to keep from a "too-lean" condition, so the cats and possible pistons don't fry. I saw the result of this on an Altima that had been running too lean and after only 11,000 miles, the #1 piston top looked like a piece of charcoal.

As previously stated, shailey did mention the rich conditions with the headers. I mean I would like to know if they can be run with a intake withouth a tuner (safely).... Could anyone further elaborate on this?

So a cat back exhaust can cause the engine to run rich?

Would the GB be less than $375?

A catback alone will not have any adverse effects on your vehicle, however if you change your headers I'd highly recommend a tune.

All quotes have been sent. Please PM if any have been left unanswered.

To what state and zip would this be sent? Thanks in advance,

John
