Not me, but a friend. He asked me for advice as to what area around Orlando is nice, safe, and affordable yet close enough to the theme parks (he's going to work at one of the parks), but I'm not too familiar with that area. Can anyone suggest a good locale? He's in his early 20's but not too much of a partier, so he's more concerned with finding a good neighborhood than he is with being close to clubs, etc.

Usually the areas close to the parks can be a little pricy,depends...I used to rent of Conroy rd. and it wasn't bad.up and down that rd. from I-4 to Kirkman there is a bunch of apartments.Also in Kirkman rd. not a bad area at all.Metro west is there too and thats considered a very fancy area.I hope this helps some. pm me if you want some specifics.

As it stands right now, our plans to go to FL have been postponed until late November/ early Dec., so I'm afraid we probably won't be able to make it down. It is still remotely possible, but I wouldn't bet on it. I'm not too happy about it, but we have so much going on right now. This is my first time back on here in almost three weeks!!
