I tried a search for this but came up empty I'm sure it has probably been talked about before.
Does anyone know the proper way to get the top of the dash off (the big grey plastic piece) I have a rattle that is getting worst every day and it is comming from the drivers side where the tweeter is already checked it was ok, but the plastic is really loose and vibrating against other plastic. What I would like to do is take it off and maybe put some foam or something there, I would take it to the dealer, but I just can't get time off work to get down there when the shop is open any help would be appriciated

ooooooooooooo, I have another one to pick on now.....Cooooool...
CLG, just use your finger nails or a credit card to remove that panel. Start at the top and pop it back towards you, it's just held in with clips. If you need pics let me know. I've got them somewhere!!!
thanks for the quick reply jet tech I have used some of your tips from this forum and on tt (helper springs, diff lube, xfer case) well you get the point they were all very helpfull so that doesnt sound to hard probably won't need pics. but thanks for the offer. It has been rattling alot lately should I use some silly spray when I put it back on?

I don't know about using silly spray but there are self stick foam pads, that are about the size of a dime, that I've used before to quiet down interior panels. You can get them at Wal-Mart and at autoparts stores...
