Just in case.......If anyone in Germany shows up with their Titan, you have at least one guy here. But to be honest, it is kind of cool to be the only one right now. i see that changing here soon though, as more folks get stationed over here.

I remember when I was stationed in Berlin in the mid 80's with my full size Chevy conversion van. I was da man as far as the locals were concerned. I had probably a dozen offers to buy the van the first month I was there. I should have sold it. I could have made a bunch on it, but what the heck, it was fun tooling around the German countryside in it.

Well if you are not associated with the US Military over here, it is about 4.50 a gallon give or take, but if you are, it is about 2.50 for Super Unleaded. Cost me 49 bucks tonight to top off.

That's not too bad and I'm glad you're able to get it cheaper through the military. Can you imagine adding another $50 to that total each time you fill up???? :tears:

It's still gotta sting.

The sting is here, too. The price of unleaded regular just jumped to $2.14 here in southern Illinois today. Premium is running around $2.35 a gallon now.

That is the killer here. You have to just to keep up with traffic, or you will get blown off the road, and besides it is so easy to get up to 100-120 without even thinking about it. I meant to say this the other day, you know once I am on cruise going between 95-105, my RPM's are only at between 2300-2400.......

I am originally from Czech Republic and moved to Chicago 9 years ago. I visited my friend at Nurnberg/Germany really often back then and just miss those highways here! And yeah I love that fifth gear once you get on the highway.
