TitanGuyCNY 03-16-2005, 02:05 AM That would work great for my kids...
After reading that, I really expected it to be some kind of cage
Thanks for the heads-up KY, that might actually come in useful.
Kopperking 03-16-2005, 06:06 AM That's a Good Idea!
I've been Dropping the rear Seatback, to keep her CLAWS outta my Leather!
TeamMaximus 03-16-2005, 08:48 AM Same here, my Sheltie would make quick work of the back seat surface. I'd be interested to find out if anybody tries this. The last one I bought from PetsMart wouldn't work because it was designed to fit down completely over the seat back. Our rear seats are bolted to the back bulkhead, plus you have the center shoulder belt back there, too.

I wouldn't dare put my kids in a cage....without first using shackles...
highgeer 03-16-2005, 11:06 AM That site also has some cool items in the Garage Accessories category.
I love sites like that. I'm the geek that reads through the entire SkyMall magazine every time I fly (which is about once a month)!
Beakerstoy 03-16-2005, 06:31 PM I have a king cab and just take an old blanket or comforter and lower the seat backs, lay the blanket several inches down the back and then snap the seats back into place. This holds up the back and then I just tuck in the base of the seat backs and I have a good seat cover for the pooch. I't getting muddy with all the freeze thaw cycles we are having here in PA and I use the blanket all the time. Or pay 30 to 40$ for a custom jobber...
Kopperking 03-16-2005, 07:52 PM That's a Good idea Beaker, but what Keeps the Critter from "Moving" up front?
All Paws Get WIPED b/4 Entry of MY Titan?! LOL
dragonhead08 03-19-2005, 09:47 PM what about in the front seat. Ihave a jack russell and he sits up front with me. I couldnt keep him in the back because he's squirly as hell, I even bought him a seat belt to keep him still and he still manages to squirm out of it. little buggers justt too stubborn to give up.

Doggy Valium Maybe?
My dog is "Trained". She know's that Daddy is Cool, but if he raises his Voice, it's "Butt-Whoopin' Time"! Besides, my Puppy is about 7-8 yrs, so she's settling down a little.
Beakerstoy 03-20-2005, 11:10 AM My dog knows it's place is where I tell him to sit. If I put him in front he sits in the seat and faces forward. I do throw a thick towel on the seat first. You can always put a seat cover on for the captain's seats as well, just slip on on for the moment and dont go through the bother of all the clips. My girlfriend's dog is another matter. IT is very bull headed and spoiled and feels entitled to the front seat. when I open the doors on the king cab to let him in back he jumps in the front door on the front seat even if I'm blocking the front opening. I started closing the front door so he had to go in the back and then he would jump the conter consol and into the front seat. Now I fold the passenger seat tilt the drivers seat forward lower the arm rests on both seats part way to block and open the center consol's lid to deter the entry to the front. I fold up the rear seats and put a blanket on the floor for him. He knows I'm on to him now. I put the front seats forward if I leave him in the car for a minute while I run into a store as well or he would be in the front seat when I return. This dog will paw at a seat with a blanket or towel till it is pushed onto the floor so he can sit on the leather so I don't even give him the chance. Her dog is a Weimaraner and a little too smart.
bigjasmd 06-20-2005, 11:25 AM I don't know about you guys but my dogs arent allowed on the seats. I love how they fold up so the dogs can just stretch out on the floor. I don't have to worry about dirty paws too much, I opted for the rubber floor mats.

Thats a good idea for the kids too. Damn seatbelt laws though. My son is the messiest I think. and lets not mention the door drink holders, what a dumb idea, if you open or shut the door with anything in them, good by drink all down the side.
Malik112099 06-20-2005, 12:45 PM um yeah..ill be picking one of those up
jared611 06-20-2005, 01:11 PM I just flip my back seat up for my dog...He like the floor and the big all season mats do a good job of keeping the hair at bay.
