Okay, so, I really like the new look of the site, however what's the cooldown period on the auto merge? I was trying to bump this thread on purpose(link below), and it keeps auto merging even though my last post on the thread was more than 12 hours ago.

Is there a way to fix this? I mean, I understand it's a good thing 99% of the time, but there is 1% of the time when someone may post again after themselves for a good reason.

I think the rule should only be applied to certain threads. The For sale thread needs to not apply. I'm trying to sell my wheels, but no one will look at a post that is in the bottom, so I've been trying to bump it up, but it keeps doing the automerge thing.

I have also had problems with this. I was trying to bump the texas meet & it kept automerging my posts. Can we get some help from a moderator on this?

I loath the automerge. Sure it keeps the database size down, but it should cut off after an hour or two and/or if someone else posts. Even if it was a minute after yours.

I'll chime in and say that I like it.......it seems to work for me even when I doublepost after 12 hours have past and it doesn't merge.

I don't like that I can't have my small three muddin' picture in my signature because it has multiple pics.......

I dislike it because it prevents me from being the true postwhore that I really am. :spijt:

My only gripe.....when you come back day or two later no body knows. Could there be a way to show a post in my scrips as AM ? I would know that new content has been added.
