Anyone know what this code means? I think it is the one my Titan threw when my new exhaust sprung a leak. Anyone have a website or a list of trouble codes for the Titan?

That code is for the A/F Sensor 1, on engine bank 2. That's the front O2 sensor on the right side of the engine.

1273 and 1283 are both lean shift codes, 1273 on the left bank and 1283 on the right bank. Those are the codes you'll see if you have a leak, both slurp and I found that out the hard way....Just clear it if you haven't already and it shouldn't return if your leak is fixed!!

I cleared the code and the SES light stayed off for about and hour and then it came back on? I don't hear any leaks? Maybe the computer just hasn't adjusted yet? Could a dirty air filter throw that code?

I don't think an airfilter will throw that code. Give it a while if you're 100% positive you are leak free, it will go out on its own.

Every exhaust leak I have ever had makes a pretty distinct spitting noise. I have none of that right now even with pretty heavy throttle. When checking codes through the "How To" section method, what if more than one code exists? How do you know?

Also, I just read and cleared the code again and it was the same 1283. I will double check the flanges again when I get a chance.

I see that you have the resonators removed. Could it be a problem with the bungs they welded in for the O2 sensor is not allowing the sensor to read properly?? I know the sensors have to protrude right into the exhaust flow. Just a thought??

The last leak I had was on the top of the flange and very small, I didn't really hear it but was able to feel it when I put my hand over the area - burnt the snot out of my hand too :D

Well I found the leak. I decided today to drive the truck like I stole it hoping that some heavy accelerator flogging would reveal a leak. Well, I was pulling up a pretty steep onramp to the freeway this afternoon with the pedal to the floor and all of the sudden she lost some power and I heard the famous spitting noise. Don't know exactly where it's at but it's going back to the shop in the morning for a new gasket somewhere on the passenger side bank. :) I figure this is par for the course since I already did a number on the other driver side gasket earlier this week. I will then clear the code again and cross my fingers.

I got the leak fixed yesterday. It was the gasket on the passenger side between the pipe that replaced the resonators and the Cat. They changed them out on both sides for some high quality ones and so far, no leaks, lots more throttle response (power), and no SES light. Also, I believe now that the leaks are fixed the drone in the cabin is actually less not that it was bad before. Looks like I'm good to go. Now I need to decide on an intake.
