: Food for the texas meet
nascarjody 09-13-2006, 10:06 AM I am asking for volenteers for the food for the meet. We need hamburgers, hotdogs, boneless chicken breast, buns, chips, dips, snacks, mustard,mayo, ketchup, plates , plasticware, & all the goodies for these items. please let me know what you are bringing. I will be brining my bbq pit. It is farly large so we shouldnt have any problems with that.I am planning on getting there about 8:00 am till when ever it breaks up. I am sure there will be some that want to camp so they dont have to drive home that night. The web sight has all camping info. http://www.co.travis.tx.us/tnr/parks/mansfield_dam.asp
I know there are hotels all over the place in austin for those who dont want to drive back that night.

I'll bring a couple cases of Shiner Boch and a Couple cases of Bud Light.
I was thinking about getting a keg but with my driving, the keg would just be pure foam for a couple days.

ttugrad95 09-20-2006, 05:08 PM I understand you want to get this squared away Jody and I appreaciate it. To be honest I'm not 100% certain I will be able to come. If I do come I will be more than happy to contribute but I don't want to commit to bringing something until I know for sure. I suspect there are a lot of people in the same boat, at least everyone I have talked to is. Maybe if you wait until the week prior when people have their schedules squared away they will be more willing to commit.

I'm asking just $350 for them, vs. $650+ for wheels and S/H to/from a wheel exchange. One wheel has some blemishes in the chrome, but you have to be very close to see them. The blemishes have been there for a long time without changing, so shouldn't have any further issues with them. The tire shop lost the center caps, so you would have to use the ones you have, or you could buy some from oemrims or someone. These are the reasons why I'm selling them at this price. Someone please buy these. I need some room in my garage.
