i have posted a similar post on titantalk, but did not get many replys so i thought id give it a shot here

on the freeway my gas pedal vibrates a bit, gets worse the faster you go, it sort of feels rough and i get a kind of pulsating/knocking feeling in my foot, today going 70-75mph i hit the cruise control and put my feet on the floor mats (on the floor) and i could feel a sort of humming sensation, the reason im mentioning the humming sensation is because it might have something to do with the gas pedal? im not sure

does anybody know what could cause such sensations in the gas pedal? could it be wind resistance while travling down the freeway, is this why armadas/qx56's have those deflectors at the bottom of the bumper? has anybody had this issue? did the deflector help? and can anybody just help me in general with this, thank you

Hi dilley, I agree with smoke, it sounds like the vibration you're feeling is coming from an out of balance tire. Typically if you can feel it in the body (floorboard) and not in the steering wheel then its a rear tire out of balance. Let us know what you find out and good luck.

i have almost 17,000km thats around 10,500miles i believe, my tires have not been rotated, will a rotation fix an out of balance tire? and will the dealer do this for free, thank you

A rotation will not fix and out of balance condition with the tire and wheel so the dealer will have to balance them. I think the dealer will do it for free as long as you have less then 12K miles on it of which you do. Give'em a call and see..

I've had quite a shimmy in my Armada for some time. Discount Tire was the only shop that could solve it for me- I guess they did a road-force balance. Anyway, the shimmy is gone..

Just thought I'd plug.
