: WAAG Center Guard
drmstlr66 03-17-2005, 10:05 AM I just ordered this for my truck yesterday. http://www.autoanything.com/products/product_gnn.aspx?p_id=1235&se=waag_center_guard As soon as I get it in and installed I'll be sure and post some pics. Now I can run into those slow people around here and not hurt my truck. :redfaced:
xsive11 03-17-2005, 10:15 AM I assume you have to loose your hooks? Does the Titan's model bend out in the middle like the site's pic shows?
Kopperking 03-17-2005, 10:27 AM Good Choice Tobin!
(...guess What? You're a Shift_Enthusiast!)
The bummer I saw, it Ships in 3-16 Business Days?!
drmstlr66 03-17-2005, 11:13 AM I don't have the tow hooks, so that won't be a problem. But since I have the XE model it requires longer brackets, which the lady at WAAG told me won't be a problem, she'll make sure they are part of my order. And YIPPEE, I'm finally an Enthusiast. I agree Sean, it is a bummer that it takes 3-16 days to ship, but I guess its good that they parts are vehicle specific. Now I just have to control my impatience on this. Oh, and as a compromise with the soon-to-be-wife, she got a new Coach purse. That piece of colored leather cost as much as the guard. The things we do for love, and our trucks. :rollingeyez:
firecracker 03-17-2005, 11:45 AM I can't wait to see some pictures of it on a Titan. Need to really see that before I buy one.
Good choice!
SimplyTitan 03-17-2005, 12:12 PM That is pretty dang cool! I can't wait to see the pics. Now if only they had that thing in Chrome!
Kopperking 03-17-2005, 02:09 PM Make sure you've got pics of that Purse too!
I wanna know what a $300 purse looks like, just in case the wife shows up with one?!
drmstlr66 03-17-2005, 02:40 PM I can send you the link, but I'm still not understanding how a bag costs as much as a piece of steel that can save your life in a wreck? Guess its that woman mentality that I lack. Thankfully. However, I've learned not to argue about such things, I got what I wanted, she gets what she wanted, its just easier that way.
drmstlr66 03-23-2005, 10:34 AM Alright, the center guard should be at the house tomorrow, so I'll try and get it installed this weekend and post some pics.

drmstlr66 03-24-2005, 10:08 AM I'll keep that in mind and give you a call when I get around to putting it on. Beer always helps you put hardware on your vehicle. :coffee:

drmstlr66 03-25-2005, 09:53 AM We do, but I'm thinking the little lady won't let me do it this weekend, since we are getting married tomorrow. Maybe next weekend. I'll for sure let you know though.

drmstlr66 04-01-2005, 10:07 AM OK, so I ordered this on March 16th. I finally got an answer yesterday as to when it will be shipped. Not for another week. Which means it will take another 3-5 days after that just to arrive. I'm not all that patient, so I'm really hoping this part is worth the month wait. As soon as I get it in and installed, with some help from Tattoomee, I'll post some pics.
