Getting a tad nervous about the email I just got yesterday from Amy @ Old Town regarding our upcoming Friday night cruise on Friday Oct 27th the day before the Big Meet.

Originally I was told that you needed 4 mods in order to qualify for the cruise. Saturday night is out of the question because that is geared only to Classics.

Here is the email I got, so I need help seeing how some of the guys who are showing interest in the cruise might be able to meet these demands ahead of time.

QUALIFYING ITEMS FOR FRIDAY NITE CRUISERS:

You MUST have four (4) or more items on your 1988 or newer vehicle to participate in the Friday Nite Cruise!

NO EXCEPTIONS!

1. Lowered bodies.
2. Custom body modifications.
3. Body graphics.
4. Flame paint.
5. Custom paint.
6. Aftermarket hood scoops.
7. Aftermarket spoilers.
8. Aftermarket strobe lights.
9. Neon lights.
10. Custom Wheels/Rims.
11. Ground effects.
12. Custom license plates/tags.
13. Window graphics.

*** Gosh, I have Titan mods coming out of my rear but I just BARELy made the cut ??? And thats if they allow my Mickey Thompson Classic Locks with the Beads qualify as a custom wheel or rim ???

I should meet the wheel/body modification/Custom License plate/and window graphics ..... which gives me 4.

Where I need some clever ideas is what can some of the other guys do to meet the critieria at little expense but not make the drive to OT on Friday a wasted trip??

These are some ODD qualifications they are listing here if you ask me.

Well that doesn't look good. I have #2 (fender flares) and # 10 (custom wheels) but none of the other crap listed. I wonder if lifts can be included in #1? It's not looking good for me... Work your majic T.....

I will be calling Joe today (lol). If he says no way ... then its time to have all my Train Horn guys show up early (lol) .... right Freak8 (lol)

Heck if I added up all of our mods it would be staggering. I know for a fact I have more than even their whole list amounts to. Well in excess of 13 (lol).

I just got EXCELLENT news !!!! No kidding. When I read the list of mods that were required (4 being mandatory or minimum) I got very nervous. When I read their list of 13 items that qualify one for the Friday night Cruise ..with the words "NO EXCEPTIONS" listed above it in bold print I got even more nervous !!!

I have only spoken to Amy from Old town thus far ..... but she gave me the phone number of the Cruise director. His name is Joe, and we just spoke about an hour ago.

We hit it off IMMEDIATELY and after gaining favor with him I just simply laid it out on the table regarding the Friday night cruise. I told him I have 25 Titans that have committed to the cruise on Friday and close to 50 attending the Meet the next day.

I told him that I respect their list of 13 items but that our Titan mods are ALOT different in nature. He chuckled and just said that the trucks that actually qualify can be resgistered (whatever that means) and the ones that don't have the required mods can still ride in the cruise parade with the rest of us on Friday.

Outside of it being a remote control Titan (which I happen to own one.. lol) I think we are ALL good to go for Friday.

I told you it was great news !!! I called Bodean and Thrust Titan the moment I got off the phone regarding the good news. I'm hoping that Supa and HighVoltage get this post as well.

It's gonna be a blast !!! We need at least one girlfriend or wife to get a nighttime cam vid of the parade of Titans (lol) to post here at CT.

Bottom line .... EVERYONE qualifies for the parade cruise on Friday Oct 27th. Keep the mods coming though .... this is not the time to slack off (lol).
