Anyone use them or know much about them i havent ever seen them till today.

I've used them for the last 2 oil changes, and my mechanic friend swears by them, he said stay away from fram they have been known to clog immediatly within first hundred or so miles and there goes your motor..

for me its the factory nissan 9E filter.......

They're nothing spectaculor and nothing bad. Purolator makes the motorcraft filter which is good in and of itself. I'd stick with it if you can. Fords run good numbers with them.

what about the bosch 3323

That's one of the few filters I haven't done too much research on, but I can say that the purolator pureone is my current pick.

Nice link, that's some good info.........i just got the bosch the other day with some mobile one oil, but i broke 3 allen keys trying to get the skid plate off to get to the filter, the last time it was changed the dealer did it, now i can't get the damn thing off and before i never had any problem with it

Mine has 11mm bolts, yours must be different.

I haven't heard anything bad about Bosch, but I think I heard once that they buy their filters from someone else. I could be wrong.

well, it's got the little removable plate, that's usually what i take off to get to the filter, but i stripped 2 allen keys on those, so i figured i would just take the whole thing off but the four BIG allen bolts were too tight and they actually broke my big allen key.....although i was using a hammer.....lol.....maybe they did it so i would have to come back to the dealer.....i'll get it off one way or another

That won't hurt a Titan. Maybe a Dodge that's held together with duct tape, but never a Titan.

Thats the same thing I read but doesn't he end up picking the Mobil 1 because he had concerns that the purolator filtered too good, so much so it impeded proper flow?

I stick with the Nissan filter...supposedly has a second bypass for better flow and filtering.

I checked on that. There is a spec for minimum flow at different pressures that must be met for oil filters. The Purolator is well within that spec. I posted the details on here several weeks ago.

If you use the oversized PL14459 PureOne, the surface area is greater and probably flows better than that tiny factory filter.

The PL14610 is small in comparison. I had the 14459 on when I got my good results while running royal purple a while back.
