: Seat Cover Installation for Dummies!
Seagull 10-01-2004, 09:05 AM Hi guys. Just stumbled on this site...looks great!
It took two months to get a set of seat covers for my king cab from the dealer. The fit so far is pretty good and they will definitely serve their intended purpose.
My problem is the rear seat backs. The cover has the appropriate cutout for the bracket that holds the back to the wall. How the hell do I disengage the bracket to fit the covers over the seat??? There is about an inch and a half room between the seat and the back and my hands are too big to work effectively. I hate to disconnect something I won't be able to reinstall. I was able to remove the top bolt but it wasn't enough. I couldn't disconnect the slide either. Anyone know a dwarf in south Florida that is mechanically inclined?
Thanks for your help.
Do you have a brand name on them. I would like to see what they look like exactly. It may be because I haven't had much sleep lately but I'm not quite following ya. Do you mean you dont know how to release the seat from the wall , as in lay it down flat. If this is the case there is a small strap on either side of the cab on the seat itself that you pull it releases the seat from the wall. Let me know if I sound like an idiot.

Seagull 10-02-2004, 06:25 AM Idiot, nah, I feel like the idiot after my son showed me the strap to release the seat!
The covers are by "Seat Jeans" and the distributor is Je Lon, Inc in Tamarac, FL.

Must not be mike I did a good search and came up with nothing. Unless they have a new site or something.

Cmon seagull, give it up, where can we locate them? got any pics?
Seagull 10-03-2004, 06:13 PM I got them from Weston (FL) Nissan. I couldn't find any direct link (phone, web, etc) to the distributor.
Call 954-888-6830 ask for Troy Vernon in the parts department. He was real helpful. You can get a choice of single colors and either NISSAN or TITAN printed on the covers. Hell, I don't know what the material is, but it seem substantial and is washable.
I had tried to get them at another local dealer and am still waiting for them to find the covers.
MikeZ 10-03-2004, 08:08 PM Thanks for contact info. About how much were they?
USMCUglyAngel 10-05-2004, 04:41 PM Don't know if anyone has seen this website, looks like they have some cool stuff here.

Seagull 10-06-2004, 08:38 PM I believe I paid $211. I have the front bucket seats. If you get them, be real careful with the seat backs in the rear. They are real tight and I ripped one a little because I didn't pull the sides down evenly. The fabric tear didn't run though. Good luck.
BiXLL 10-07-2004, 07:57 AM I have been looking at these sites.

LoL guys take a look at some of the links that Googleads is popping up in this section. There are quite a few different good looking seat cover places. Several of them are those neoprene kind.
