Check out this link and let me know your opinions. There seems to be major studies going on to help increase MPG economy as well as increasing HP. I haven't tried this myself, as my Titan is still new (less than 1000 miles). I am not about to use it until someone else has tried and proven it for the Titans.

Studies have been done on most cheap MPG increases and all have been disproved and some have been found to damage the vehicle.

In some of the older cars I've had I have put in some 90% rubbing alcohol and it did help. It ran a little hot but gave it a good boost. Not enough that I do it now but thought about giving it a shot down the road.

That's similiar to the gas line anti-freeze you can buy. The alcohol will mix with the water in your tank, unlike gasoline and water, and let it burn through your engine.

jet, Is that kind of the deal with that water injector deal that came out awhile ago. It adds a charged water vapor, I guess, into the air stream. I don't know much about it just something I seen awhile back. It said something about adding HP and Tq and keeping it burning cleaner. Any one heard of it or have any info. I don't think I will use it, just wondering about the way it works.

I went back and found something like what I seen, http://aquatune.com/overview.html

I'll see if I can find you more information on water injection systems. Although they are not very popular they are a pretty cool item to have and from what I've read work great, (I've never tried a water system myself).

i used to run a water injection system on a turbo car i built years back and it did a great job. never thought about putting one on my titan. still have the kit maybe i will try it. come to think of it i have a t3/4 turbo that would be kind of cool on the truck also.

Good, maybe we will have a new mod for the titan after this. If it works could be interesting.

My only concern with this would be oxygen sensors. I have heard it said time and time again that these "mix your own" gas additives/octane boosters will roast O2 Sensors on newer cars and not to do it. For the record though, I have no personal experience. It's just what I've heard.

I hear ya, I don't want any thing to cause problems either. That site I linked before said that it actualy cleans up problems with some cars that could not pass emissions tests. http://aquatune.com/reports.html
I'm not sure, but would love to get some more info from someone who knows more about it.
