This is going to be another full weekend Titan Meet! If your staying at a Hotel remember to tell them your going to Paragon. Most Hotels will give you a discount. The campground has full hook ups for travel trailers too. I will be arriving at the campground on Friday afternoon and leaving Sunday morning.

We will be meeting at the Paragon Adventure Park (http://www.paragonap.com) for a day of trail riding on Saturday October 21th, 2006. The gates open at 8am, but they recommend we get there a little early. Paragon said that reasonable size groups (10-15 trucks) do not have to make any special reservations. I would like to keep a running tally here of who will be attending so we can keep an eye on the number of people going. If we get a really large crowd we just have to let them know ahead of time. Also, make sure you read all the info on Paragons website. Anyone under 18 must have a notarized waiver with them before they can enter the park. We will likely stick to the "2WD Access" roads as they were daunting enough for most of us on the last trip! You will need to have a marker flag on your truck while at Paragon. Cost there is $15. Has to be at least as large as the one shown in titanse05's sig.

Paragon is open year round unless otherwise noted. I'll make sure to call before we go just to double check.

Important Paragon Note
The last time we were out, we had problems getting going on Saturday morning which delayed us by several hours. There is NO cell phone service at the campground.
Because of this, I think it will be easier to leave "roll out" times. We will plan to leave the campground at 9:00 AM.

We will plan to leave the registration area around 10:00AM to head into the park.

After the off roading trip we will be having a BBQ at the Red Ridge Lake Camp Ground (http://www.gocampingamerica.com/redridgelake/). We will hash out the BBQ details as the time gets closer. This camp ground will cost about $25 per night for a site with electric and water for us spoiled travel trailer people. This includes 2 adults and 2 children. There is an extra fee for extra adults and you can also have multiple tents per site for a minimal fee as well.

I just got off the phone with Ray. We will setup in the same spot as last time. No need to call and make a reservation, just be sure to check in when you get there!

Food:
At the campground, everything is BYO, however I think it will be a bit easier if we coordinate and plan to cook together. This should speed along the breakfasting portion on both days.

For lunch on Saturday, plan to bring something along. We'll stop to munch while we are out on the trails.

Gotcha. The weather is changing almost every day. Like I said, if you guys want to camp, let's meet up, I'll get your camping gear, and Kristin and I can set up for you so that your tent is all ready to go when you get there Friday night.

c) can we change the time of the Sat ParagonII meet earlier, because Im thinking with 9 Titans depending on the trail/conditions that it maybe the only trail we get too... ive never been there but it wont be the LAST time unless I OOOOPPPPSSSS it....

I don't think we'll have any problems at the park. The place is HUGE. Going earlier than that will be a bit difficult on the campers because we'll need some time to breakfast.

Yes, I'll be going to the campground for breakfast. I'm at the Ramada. Can the campsite handle all the trucks parking at your site, Steve, or do we park outside the grounds and hoof it in?

There's plenty of parking there, won't be an issue. I'll be leaving my truck there and we'll ride with whoever will have us in Paragon :D

I will have to take someone's duty on Friday, this means I won't get off duty until Saturday morning, so I can't make it in time due to being a 6.5 hour drive. It was either taking the duty on Friday or me standing duty on Thanksgiving, so I chose Friday. Military can be difficult sometimes. I hope you guys have a great time! Well I was going to NJ on Friday to visit my family and see my sister's newborn son. They live 1 1/2 hours east of Paragon, so I was just going to take the Saturday to be part of the off roading and then go back to my sister's that night. I wouldn't come back to VA Beach until Sunday evening. But now it's just too much to drive all the way and have to come back the next day.

Kristin may be out for sure now. Loki managed to hurt himself again last night, so she may stay home with them. We're still playing it by ear....

Me and Beth will be there! We are getting really excited!

Okay, Kristin decided last night that it's probably better that she stay home with the dogs. She said that she really wanted to go, but both of us are a little worried about Loki. Red, what time do we plan to leave the hotel on Saturday? Must have breakfast before hitting the trail, so want to be sure to get to Steve's campsite in time.

I hope Mapquest doesn't lead me astray.....again.

You will see "Little" Red for sure! I'm excited for you to see the difference since you saw her in person when she was stock height. It will take a while for you to get to the tri-state traffic, specially from 3-7PM. That NYC area gets nasty around that time.

Yeah, I'm definitely down for breakfast before heading out. Last time we didn't leave enough time to eat and I was pissed...

Word to the wise, don't eat TOO much because driving these trails (even the "2wd access roads") is much like riding a bull on steroids...

So, if we're heading to the campground at 8:00, maybe we should head to breakfast around 7:15 or so?

Man I am stoked. I dont know if I will be able to sleep at all friday night. Hopefully everyone has safe travels and gets to paragon without any troubles. I have a strap with loops, bringing some waders......just incase, rather safe than sorry. I would be very upset if i were to get stuck....then to have to get wet and messy and get back in my truck, I don't think so!! Looks like we will have quite the convoy.
