Can I put a picture in my signature? If so could someone please explain how to do it? I was wanting to put a pic in there like baja's. Please help.

Hey all, do you have your pictures hosted on a website? You have to link your photos before they will show up below your signature. I'm not sure if m4ck has changed it to where you can do it by attaching it but last I knew they had to be linked from a host website.

Did you try loading the signature pic to the members gallery and then adding the gallery pic's URL to your sig? Also size down the bytes if you can on the pic to save bandwidth and allow for faster page loading.

Yeah, I've tried everything imaginable. I'm a member at other forums and have pics in my signatures, just can't seem to figure this one out. Guess I'll set up an account over at www.cardomain.com.

I just tested my sig to see if it could link to one of my gallery pics and it worked.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Load the signature pic into the members gallery here.

View the pic normally as anyone else would when browsing the gallery and note the URL of the picture. You can find the URL by opening the pic, clicking the right mouse button over it, select properties, then copy the URL location of the pic.

Go to edit your signature and use the image coding as follows:
insert the URL here between the bracketed codes

Save your sig and see if that works.

You can also use the following code
http://www.link.to.file.com/whatever.jpg
Change the link.to.file.com/whatever.jpg to the host and file name.

Your code is calling to a page not an image. The image you are trying to call is this code.

Also you will have to resize that image cause its way to wide to use. Try the one I have below. Click on it then use the image path of the full size image that comes up.

Okay I replaced the code in the sig, and saved the new pic to the gallery. Still not working. I was working on resizing, had another thread going on how to use photoshop elements. What would we all do without m4ack.

click there and do it. For some reason the Your Account section doesn't work right when you add it there.
See what happens.

I think i am to blonde to accomplish this. I am normally a very smart person. I am just not getting this. Oh well, you all can look at the gallery if you want to see it. I got some help making a smaller one from kytitan, it is 199 X 74 so it should be nice and small and not take up any space. I changed it to be normal_sig hoping it would just see the smaller one instead.

It finally clicked, my brain started working. Sorry to be such a pain. I am going to change hair color right now, maybe to prevent future blonde moments.

Make sure you are using the Profile link in the forums to add pictures to your sig. http://www.clubtitan.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=profile&mode=editprofile
click that it will take you to the place you should be. Find the signature section and add the same line you tried a little while ago.

Heres how I did it...
Find a pic you want to use on your 'puter.
Reduce it to around 360x177 (size) and upload it to your Gallery (in Member Gallery).
open the pic and right click, scroll down to Properties, left click. Left drag across link, right click and save.
go to your profile, right click, and paste.
Now, you need to type before the link "" and after the link ""
That's it.

Sounds complicated, but basically its "Drag and Drop", then add the "" photo link ""

What takes the time is re-sizing the pic to the size you want.
(my pic is 360x177)

hey 8, you need an img tag on the other end for it to work. Try it again..

Also....don't be doing this in your INFO..ACCOUNT...look at the top of your screen and click profile....do it here. Won't work the other way for some reason.
