: Morano
BiXLL 10-02-2004, 06:30 PM I have seen some guys mention they have a Morano. My wife just informed me that we have an appointment Monday at 10:30 to talk about a deal on a dealer demo she wants.
Can you make me aware of any problems I should look for? Are there any Morano forums?
ensclark 10-02-2004, 11:14 PM I answerd a bit on TT. My wife loves hers and we havn't had a problem with it at all. I just got the front windows tinted today. MPG is about 19/25. Longest ride was 8 hrs with no problems at all. Felt like a lux car on the highway and a sports car around town. Hers is fully loaded so there is a lot of goodies on it.
Bighitter 10-03-2004, 09:52 AM My fiance got her Morano 2 weeks before I got my titan. It is a great vehichle, very sporty for the driver and yet extremely refined for the passengers. Feels like a luxury car in the ride and features department. She is extremely pleased with it and I even enjoy driving it from time to time, thank god she doesn't want to drive my titan though.
BiXLL 10-03-2004, 10:30 AM I have been going over numbers in my head, and I don't see how they are going to possibly put her in it for the numbers I need them to be. I will go with her anyway, but I don't expect it to happen.

Well good luck there Bill. Hope you guys can get what you want and where you need it.

ensclark 10-03-2004, 07:15 PM Bill hope you can get things to work. It's getting that time the 05 will push the 04s out. Last year they were almost giving them away to make room. If you can't work that one, and she is set on one, shop around and see what pops up. Again good luck.
BiXLL 10-03-2004, 07:36 PM Thanks for the well wishes guys. It is really not a big deal, as it was basicly an afterthought. We were going to look into either a Altima, or Chrysler 300 for her, then she decided she is not ready to give up the versatility of the Pathfinder. (Yard/garage sales, trips to Lowes, etc)She told our sales guy about it, and the sales manager who we got to know quite well durring our 6 hours of negotiations, overheard her. He mentioned a new Murano, and she said that the price of them would put the payment out of where we want to be. He told her of the dealership owners demo that he could make a great deal on. So we will go and listen to his "great deal". I really don't expect anything to happen.
BiXLL 10-04-2004, 04:05 PM It was a no go on the Murano, they weren't even close!

Maybe it was for the best. Could be a better deal out there somewhere. Good luck

BiXLL 10-04-2004, 04:17 PM We did get to within $6.00 per month payment on a real nice Altima, but I set a limit, and I can be as hard headed as that sales manager can any day of the week!
You know I sat in the Altima they had in the show room when I was picking up my Titan. They were giving her a bath and fillin up her tank. So I had a little time to kill. This Altima was decked out with all the bells and whistles leather, nav, the works. I can't remember how much it was but I want to say it was a lot. Well for me a lot. But I cant get over how comfortable it was and I have heard a lot of good things about them.

ensclark 10-04-2004, 05:31 PM I have to agree, I like them too. I was telling my mother how nice they are and comfortable to ride in. She needs that now, I remind her how old she is and deserves the extra lux and for the money it's a great deal. Glad to hear you were able to work something out.

We didn't get anything done! We got to the point in negotiations where he said there is no more to give, I told him he was $6.00 away from the limit I decided on for a payment when I left the house, and I walked.
I agree on it being a good car though!
ensclark 10-04-2004, 08:34 PM right on, works for me.
