So, 3 weeks after ordering (numerous unanswered calls, emails etc.) finally sent email to them threating to inform CA State Attorney, BBB and dispute charge on CC. They responded same day with BS excuse that Gibson kept delaying shipment they gave me a tracking number and credited my CC back $100. (Funny, shipping date was same as when I sent threat.) I finally got my exhaust.

Took only 1 hour to install. Sounds great. Not too loud, but still aggressive enough for me. (Gibson single in/out aluminized)

BTW this was NOT from one of our site sponsors.

Yeah, but they also offered to give me my next purchase from them at cost plus shipping (as if I would buy anything else from them.)

Did you include a copy of your avatar in your last email to them?

Hmm, that wouldn't happen to be www.StreetDemand.com would it?? That sounds like the same exact story I got, right down to the cost on next item purchased! lol :) However, I didn't get the $100 credit you did. At least you finally got it though. :D

No, it wasn't StreetDemand.

Well..... How is the performance? I have been shopping around for an aftermarket exhaust but have yet to make up my mind.

I definitely feel more power, especially low end.

I definitely feel more power, especially low end.

That's the beauty of most of the systems available now for the Titan. The only system I've ever heard people complaining about losing low end power is the banks. Some like it, some hate it. It is the exception though because it has 3" pipes compared to the 2.5" pipes that most of the aftermarket systems have. These engines like a little backpressure and it would appear that 3" primary pipes are a little too much. 3" pipe after the y-pipe seems to work great though with any system that is used.

I feel the 3" single does just fine! (BiXLL butts heads with the "Guru")

Bixll, your system is 2.5" off the cats/resonators and then it goes to 3" aft of the Y-pipe. That setup works great. The banks is 3" right off the cats/resonators.......that's where the loss' come in to play.

I think JT says the 3" tail pipe is fine, too. He is talking about the head pipes, which are 3" on the Banks ans 2 1/2 on most others, like the Gibson. So you ain't really butting heads with him ! (but I might like to see that!) :flamer:

Edit: You beat me to it, JT!

Don't let that worry you, BiXLL. You know how JT likes synthetics, so the jewels are probably just Rhinestones. :nervous:

Welcome to the club man. If you get a Cat back system you will not have to remove the tire. They are made to go around them.

I've got the same exhaust and can't agree with you more.

Me too, with the same feelings about it!
