BlackTitan05 03-25-2005, 09:41 PM Hey all!
Just got my 05 Titan a week and a half ago. Traded the 2002 BMW 330i in. I love the Titan! I just put my Nissan OEM bug deflector on tonight. I want a Tonneau cover for my Titan. I really like the Folding panel cover . its on Ebay for $515 + $90 shipping. Does any have this one? If so any feedback is greatly appreciated. Any suggestions for other types. ( i have the utilty track) Crew Cab.

After a lot of looking, I just bought the Truxedo low profile this weekend. I was hesitant because I was looking for more security than vinyl, but after seeing how tough it is, I went for it. I bought the basic black, but they had a fairly wide variety of special order colors.
BlackTitan05 03-27-2005, 09:20 AM There is so many choices and price ranges to choose.
MrSiLeNT 03-27-2005, 05:00 PM I know that BiXll likes us to use the sponsors, but if you want the one you found on Ebay here it is from a more respectable site. This is where I got mine from.

That Lund look pretty sweet also. The Advanced cover is made for the Utili-trac system.

MrSiLeNT 03-28-2005, 10:07 PM First off I love the cover. I like the fact that it locks on both ends. The cover is very well constructed. It probably only weighs around 40 lbs. It is pretty water tight. The fit and finish is excellent. I have got a lot of comp on how it looks. As a matter of fact I was at the dealership to day getting my truck in for another round of brake judder fixxing and one of the sales guys, brought another customer out to show them my cover. I made me feel pretty good. It should only take about 30-45 mins for initial install. Then it is about 2-5 mins to remove it. The install is pretty simple if you have the utility trac. All you need to do is slide the brackets in and put the weather striping on and you are done. Hope this helps.

it is the second cover, the K-cover.
Mine came with a "defective" seal and customer service was great, they replaced the seal no questions asked.

Farmtruck 04-03-2005, 12:34 PM Just put a Lund folding cover on my 05 CC LE .Got it from site sponsor above (etuckoutfiters). Looks great and a great price, paid $299 including shipping. Had to fabricate some brackets so this would work with the utili-track system but really wasn't a big deal. Just got the Titan a little over a week ago and love it!
BlackTitan05 04-03-2005, 10:08 PM Sounds good. Yeah got the Titan about 2 weeks ago. I love it! Already got windows tinted (20%) , got the OEM hood/bug deflector. Getting the folding cover in week. Next is K&N intake , and thinking about the Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust.
LouisTruckster 06-30-2005, 03:57 AM Checkout truckcovers.net They claim to sell 31 different types of covers and they sell two different types of fold up covers. I looked at all of them and I am going to buy the Retrax because I will not lose my utilitrac feature.
Capman 07-29-2005, 02:37 PM Hello all,
Newby here. I don't really particiapte much in on-line forums, but this one seems to have an abundance of useful information. I just wanted to let BlackTitan05 know about the cover that I purchased on-line. It is a TorzaTop tri fold cover. It is made for use with and without the utilitrac system. I found it at the following site: http://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/subpages/torza_tops.htm. The price is 344.95 w/free shipping.
I am a budget kind of guy, and this budget top looks pretty good for the price. it is a breeze to remove and reinstall. 4 lockdowns attach to the Utilitrac with adapters. BlackTitan05, take a look, it may be what you are looking for.

Sorry, I did not realize the posting date. I hope you found what you were lokiing for BlackTitan05. I will leave the information in case someone else needs an inexpensive top.

TheSkeeter 08-03-2005, 01:59 PM I just ordered a Lund Lo Pro for my CC yesterday. Here's a link: http://www.autoanything.com/department.aspx?c_id=50174&se=tonneau_covers_truck_bed_cover
I have to say these guys' customer service is superb. I originally ordered a Bak Rollbak cover. Great price on this website. About ten minutes after I placed my order, one of their reps called my cell and asked me if I had the Utilitrack in my bed. I said yeah - I filled that out in my order. He told me that I would have to flip my side rails on the Utilitrack 180 degrees to make this cover work... which would still accomodate the tie down clamps fine, but the bed extender would no longer work. Slightly pissed that he killed my excitement of getting a new toy at the cost of losing a current one, we walked though all the covers that would work with the Utilitrack. Darn near none of them would work with Utilitrack without the 180-flip mod, which as I mentioned kills the use of any bed accessories except the tie down clamps. So I opted for the Lund Lo Pro cover.. lifetime warranty, low profile, auto-tensioning, blah blah blah. So we'll see how this puppy works out. Dad has a Toyota CC and has a Pace Edwards rolltop cover. He didn't even buy the cover - the truck came with it second-hand. But it started to stick when you tried to open it, so he called Pace Edwards - didn't fuss them out or anything - just asked them if there was someplace they could recommend he take it for someone to look at it. Pace Edwards just sent him a new cover - no questions... and Fed Exed it 2nd day. That said, I wanted to go with PE, but they don't make a rolltop that accomodates the Utilitrack.
I just wanted to throw that out there that the covers that say "some minor modification requiired for Utilitrack" really is minor - you're just unscrewing the siderails and flipping them 180 degrees to make room for the cover's rail system. The consequences though are you can't use any of your bed accessories anymore. So you solve one problem only to create another. Kepp 'em covered!
Mike :D
Wiskers 12-01-2005, 12:20 AM OK, I'm bringing this post back from the dead.
I have some questions though. I'm lookin' for a cover (preferably soft roll) that is water/rain proof, low profile, and doesn't have those bows that make the bed look like a "wagon". If it works w/ the utility track system that's a plus. So far I found the "Access Lorado Performance Tonneau Cover" to be the best choice. It even says it'll work w/ the bed caps, etc. My only drawback is the price ($440 8O ). So I was wondering if anybody knows of another one w/ all these same features at a lower price. Thanx!!
Shyster54 12-01-2005, 02:36 AM I, too, have the advance cover and it works great. Haven't had any trouble with leakage.
Pics? Ya want pics? okey dokey
