I spoke with one of the engineers at Banks Power, he called because I submitted an email to them about when they are going to further study the Titans power.
We went through all of the possible items to help increase HP and MPG. You are all aware of the usual things like; exhaust, air intake, tonneau cover and headers. Well the one thing that he suggested was to get rid of the stock fan (motor mounted) and replace it with a 5500 cfm electric fan. Our stock fans add about 18 lbs to the over all engine drag. Removing the stock fan and adding the elec. fan will give us about 2-4 mpg and up to 20 HP.
I am trying to find a company that can provide us with the new fan specifically for the Titan. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions let me know.
